Though our original Room 3 was way too small for two people, the staff was nice enough to upgrade us to Room 6 at no extra cost. Lots more space in Room 6. Food was superb, grounds nice......great deserts at Tea Time too!

Glad we could offer you a different room and you enjoyed your stay with us. Every room is unique, many guests love room #3, you liked room #6. Please check the website and call the Inn to make sure you book the room (or suite that suits your needs) Paul and Sue: Owners More

Conveniently located to the Plaza - just a few minutes walk. Our room had a fireplace that we enjoyed at night. The staff prepare a mid-afternoon tea with desert - we had strawberry pie one day that was very tasty. The only negative was that there was no Wifi in the room - you had to go out to the... More

Thanks for your review! We're happy you enjoyed your stay. To clarify… we do have wi fi in all the rooms, sometimes there is an issue with compatibility which happens sometimes, but if you come to the front desk we can almost always fix the issue. We look forward to seeing you again! Paul and Sue : Owners More

I come to Santa Fe often, but this was my first time at El Paradero -- excellent! Charming, small inn with a great location on a quiet street in Santa Fe. The dining area is lovely, with a nice outdoor patio for summer and the breakfast and afternoon tea are both delicious! The room was very nice and the staff... More

My wife and I celebrated our 30th Anniversary at El Paradero and they made it memorable for us. Sue, the owner and staff provided chocolate covered strawberries and chilled wine on our arrival. I requested, in advance, with Adam and Sue, to arrange flowers for our room. They were so kind to honor my request. My wife was so surprised... More

We visited El Paradero to get away from the city for a few days. It was absolutely perfect. the afternoon tea is a must and the service was amazing. The chocolate flan was to die for! The room was great. We had a fire started and enjoyed eating snacks in front of the fire. The morning breakfast tasted delicious!

Excellent B&B and I will stay here on my next trip. The food, décor and service were top notch. The location was a plus because it was on a quiet street. It also was a short walk to all downtown activities so we left our vehicle in their free parking lot. One reason we chose this place is it didn't... More

Excellent is great but now we have to get to perfect! We'll look into the pillows and upgrade them. Glad you liked the new foam mattress toppers, they are really comfortable. You stayed in the Ortiz Suite, which does have a clawfoot tub, the other suite has a regular bathtub. So, as you like the suites, try the Pino Suite... More

We were very pleased with our stay here. The staff was very helpful and willing to please. The rooms were very clean and suitable to our needs. We could have used a tv, though, in the room. You can't beat the location. We didn't use our car for 3 days. We walked all over. The food was delicious. A different... More

We are glad you were very pleased with your recent stay! We are in a great location for exploring Santa Fe on foot as we're just a few minutes from the plaza, and wonderful restaurants, galleries, and museums. If you do want a TV in your room we would suggest room 12 or one of the 2 suites. We also... More

We have stayed at many places in Santa Fe, and El Paradero ranks right up there with the best. It's in an historic building and some aspects are "quaint" (no TV in rooms, our private bath was across the hall), but the afternoon tea with delicious treats, and the exquisite breakfasts more than made up for these minor inconveniences.

We are thrilled we exceeded your expectations! There are TV's in some rooms, room 12 and the 2 suites, so if that's important to you please reserve one of those rooms. There is also a TV in the living room. Also all rooms have en suite bathrooms except for rooms 7 and 8, our less expensive rooms, which have a... More

The biggest criticism of this property is that the website tends to paint a better picture of it than what we found to be the case- it is a little more worn - we think some of the photos are older. The property is cute and rustic, but not upscale lodging. It is not as close to the town center... More

We are sorry you were not totally happy with your recent stay. Not sure why you feel the website is not accurate, guests are always complementing us on our website and how clearly it represents the inn. The pictures are up to date and show each room and the communal areas in great detail. We do have 2 of our... More

We had a day of personal business and pleasure activities that dictated we should spend a night in SantaFe from our home base in a nearby community. El Paradero was a fantastic place to relax and lay over for the night; attractively decorated, clean and very comfortable room; multiple sitting rooms in the old house's common area where you could...
