The owner and her staff make you feel like family. Our room was well decorated, as was the entire establishment. The outside patio area is a comfortable place to just relax. We loved the location and could walk to the plaza, capital, restaurants and shopping. Our breakfast was excellent. Don't miss the evening cookies and tea.

We do try and make your stay a warm and friendly experience, glad we succeeded! You were in room #11 which is upstairs and is actually two rooms, one of which has a day bed and a trundle, which is great for families. Please check our website for the room that best suits your needs. We look forward to your... More

El Paradero was very sweet. We found it to be well maintained, feel very clean, and the staff helpful. We stayed in two different rooms - one in the main house and in the Ortiz Suite. In both cases we found the beds to be way too hard for our tastes. The Ortiz Suite was a wonderful private little space... More

Thanks for your review. We are looking into adding pillow tops to some of our mattresses. It's interesting that one guest will love the bed and the next find it too soft or too hard. I've personally slept on the bed in Ortiz and found it very comfortable, but everyone has different tastes. The topper should make more people comfortable.... More

Charming B&B in Sante Fe within walking distance of the Square, Georgia O'Keefe Museum, and Canyon Road galleries. Lovely rooms, excellent breakfast, helpful staff. The Suites are full self-contained with kitchenette's and fireplaces, so great if you want to hang out or invite guests, family, and friends over for drinks.

Thanks for your great review! We have 13 rooms in the main house and 2 suites. Yes the suites are a short distance from the main inn ...about 50yds... but that comes with quiet, great privacy, a private patio and kitchenette. Also a fireplace and a personal parking space. The building is on the register of historic NM buildings. Please... More

It's not often that my husband I choose to stay at a B&B... But the El Paradero in Santa Fe was everything we expected and more. The Decor is so fitting to the Southwestern look with a different interesting venue at each turn . It's warm and whimsical . Our room was cute and so warm and inviting. Our hostess/... More

Wow! Thanks for your kind words. We aim to create a wonderful experience and we're happy you appreciated it. We feel our tea-time is the best in Santa Fe. After a day of exploring it's a treat to return to home made delights and tea and chat with fellow guests. Looking forward to seeing you on your next visit to... More

My title is not a complaint...but this 15-room lodging has the feel of an Inn and not a B&B. Yes, there are great Southwest-style breakfasts and pastries in the afternoon. It lacks the intimacy that one finds in most B&B's, but again, this is an observation and not criticism. For example, guests do not all sit down together for breakfast... More

I am rarely disappointed by TripAdvisor reviews. This time I was. The room (number 4) was very cramped. The space between the end of the bed and the wall was a narrow passage. The bathroom was a molded plastic shower and toilet with barely room to turn around. The only sink was in the bedroom, not the bathroom. My sense... More

Thanks for you review. We're sorry you were not totally satisfied. Our inn is 200yrs old and some of the rooms reflect that in terms of size. Rooms #3 and #4 do have the smaller bathrooms ( but they also have a gas burning fireplace) and if that is important to you please check out one of our other rooms.... More

Thanks for your review! We have many guests from Australia who love the feel of the inn. El Paradero is located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the Santa Fe Plaza. We stayed four nights in September 2014 in charming rooms right off a lovely patio filled with flowers. The breakfasts and 4 o'clock snacks were hearty and delicious and saved us money on other meals. My brother-in-law was staying there, as well. When he... More
