I have mixed feelings about our stay here, so I'll share my experience and let you decide. My husband and I had planned on a romantic winter weekend and booked El Paradero for 4 nights. We had the misfortune of spending two nights at the bed and breakfast with a large family who was enjoying a family reunion. Room #15... More

Sorry you were not completely happy with your stay at El Paradero. There was a large family group staying at the inn and sometimes when this happens there is much more commotion than is usual. This happens rarely, but yes they did have a great time, and your room is right in the middle of the inn. This tends to... More

We stayed in room 9 and had a little fireplace in the corner! It was cozy and inviting and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Everywhere that we wanted to visit - whether it be museums, restaurants, Canyon Road - were within walking distance. And the breakfast was really good each day. I'm a bit of a coffee... More

The El Paradero is a lovely inn. It is conveniently located--a short walk from the plaza. The rooms are comfortable and each has its own unique touches. The Inn includes several public spaces including a living room and study. As there were a number of us, these were a great place to meet and play games. The Inn serves a... More

This little B&B is really very sweet, nice rooms, breakfast better than I expected, close to the railyard and plaza, it has a cute lounge with comfy sofa and a fireplace that we used a few time during our stay. The bathrooms are on the other side of the small corridor which actually works out ok when going away with... More

Thanks for your review, we are happy you say El Paradero is "everything you want in a B&B." We do want to clarify one thing, you mention the bathrooms across the hall. This is true for rooms #7 and #8, (our least expensive rooms) they do have a private bathroom across the hall, all our other rooms are en suite.... More

We had a comfy nice stay. The morning ladies took great care of us and breakfast was great every morning. Our room was cute, warm, comfy and quiet, but it was a lot smaller and tighter than it appeared in photos. Not a problem for us as we're not big people, but if that's a concern, you might want to... Thank you for your nice review! Yes please check our website, or call us for the right room, as they are all different. Every room is unique in it's layout, design and size. Yes we are close to the rail yard, which now also just opened the best movie theater in Santa Fe! The Violet Crown. Sue and Paul: Owners More

This is a cute B&B that is within walking distance of the Plaza and lots of good restaurants. We found everyone working there to be friendly and helpful. The food was very good authentic New Mexican cuisine. My picky husband even enjoyed trying some unfamiliar breakfast items. The walls are very thin...you hear everything that is being said and done... More

Thank you for your review! Actually the walls are very solid being a 200 year old inn, maybe there were some very animated guests staying whilst you were here. It's not the reason we don't have TV's in the room though, ( there are TV's in the 2 suites and in room #12, so if that's important make sure to... More

We booked our reservation at El Paradero based on the pictures and details online. It was very different when we arrived. To get to the parking behind the Inn was a very narrow driveway and the parking area was so small, I could hardly get my truck into a space. We checked in and found our room to be up... More

Thanks for your review. After running an inn for some 8 years and getting 647 Excellent reviews, it does become clear that the occasional guest will write a review such as this. But in fairness we must point out some details. There are 3 rooms upstairs on the 2nd floor, rooms 10, 11, 12, one flight of stairs not two.... More

This is our second visit to El Paradero. It's cozy and friendly. Nice areas to sit and relax, inside and outside. We love the rooms, breakfast is delicious, and the location is great. There is a parking area for the B&B, so you don't have to try to park at the plaza. It's a great place to stay. Hope we... More

My friend and I stayed here for 8 nights. Room with fireplace and our own bathroom. The owner was very nice. The room was tidy and clean. The bed was comfortable. A few things to improve on especially given the price. They could use local and organics for the breakfasts in the morning. I thought the food tasted wonderful but... More

Thank you for your review! We do organics where we can, it's interesting that you also think the price is high, we actually operate with a very small margin, and with food prices going up the way they are, it's hard to buy all organic produce. Please check the website, or call us, as we have rooms at many different... More

We would highly recommend convenient location, helpful for local information with great breakfasts, afternoon desserts and tea. The decor was lovely built in the early 1800's and comfortable accommodations. We would make a repeat visit.
