This was our 2nd stay here...we'll be back! Bright/tasteful decor, quiet+comfy public areas. Feels like being in your own home...welcoming staff, small and intimate setting. Fun to meet other travelers and chat over afternoon tea or breakfast on the patio. Delicious food....yummy cakes and pies available when you return from your busy day and want to relax before heading out... More

I spent two nights at El Paradero. It is a lovely inn in a historic building. I was in room 3 which opened up into the courtyard. There are so many little touches that make this place special. It is beautifully decorated throughout the rooms and the common areas. Breakfast was delicious, and the tea time was a special treat.... More

The accommodations were very comfortable, but not fancy. Very authentic Santa Fe! The location was ideal, the staff was super helpful and breakfast was delicious. The inn was immaculate! We would definitely stay again!

Each year my friend and I travel to a new location and enjoy a few days of comfort while we reconnect. This year we loved our stay at El Paradero. We stayed in room 2 which can either be a king or divided into 2 twins. We liked having the two beds with the twin set up. The courtyard is... More

Thanks for posting your wonderful review! Yes room #2 is useful in that it can be made up as a Queen bed or 2 twins, which often suits travellers. There are nice areas around the Inn, inside and outside for relaxing, reading, catching up with old friends or just enjoying the afternoon after sightseeing, with a glass of wine. Be... More

What a find! This B&B has it all. The decor is beautifully South Western in style. We stayed in the Ortiz suite, a separate historic building with living room, small kitchenette, extremely comfortable bed, and our own porch and garden. The location was perfect for walking to the Plaza, shops and restaurants and museums. The breakfasts were fabulous. The proprietor,... More

This delightful bed and breakfast used to be an old home with stables. The rooms are bright and full of wonderful tile. Breakfast is delicious and can be taken in the dining room or out on the patio. You can easily walk to restaurants that are within a couple of blocks. A bit further and you can find museums and... More

Yes there is history at El Paradero, thanks for your kind words! We do want to point out though that only 2 of our rooms #7 and #8 have a private bath across the hall. They are our least expensive rooms, and an excellent choice if it fits your budget. Our other 13 rooms have en suite bathrooms. Please check... More

Very professional and friendly staff. I left a nightgown behind, and on our way home received a call from the owner that he was putting it in the mail for us. Wonderful place to stay! Beautiful grounds with a very short walk to the Plaza. We loved it!

We have stayed here a number of times and always enjoy it. The room (#6) was very nice as usual. Breakfast and tea were great. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. It is walking distance to most of the nice restaurants and attractions and the price provides good value.

This is a very well run and comfortable place to stay. Our room had a bathroom across the hall but it wasn't a problem. Everything was delightful. The treats at afternoon tea, as well as the breakfasts, were all delicious. We felt it was within easy walking distance of all the sites we wanted to see on our short visit... More

We stayed at El Paradero Bed and Breakfast for three nights recently. The staff was SO friendly and personable showing us around the house as if it were our own that we immediately felt at home there. The breakfasts were amazing and coffee was set up the night before for the 'first one up' to switch on for brewing. I... More

Glad you had a good time visiting El Paradero and that you felt right at home! We are only a 10 min walk from the plaza, it's actually a completely safe area even after dark, and many of our guests come back then after a night out on the town. We also feel it's the coolest breakfast room ever! Thanks!... More
