What a great place to unwind! I could feel the pace of life screech to a slow amble as soon as I stepped out of my car. The rooms are very nice, the breakfast offered in the main house was delicious - they even made me a cappuccino! The owners are great, the property is great. really, just, wow!

Stayed for a family weekend wedding. Fun, great breakfast, beautiful property, nice owners. Trails to walk on, fresh eggs from live chickens, hammock, lounge chairs. Very eco-friendly. Only negative was that we arrived hungry about 8PM, and there's no restaurant open in nearby Madrid. Had to go back to Santa Fe.

Wonderful and welcoming! We came across this place by accident and we were not disappointed. Mitch, Leslie and their four legged family run a relaxed eco chic atmosphere that is right off the Turquois Trail and close to historic Santa Fe. Delicious breakfast made from their farm fresh eggs and organic garden. Great place to unplug and just relax!

This is a fabulous place for a retreat/meeting, whatever your soul seeks. We were a group of 30 people who do social justice work. We found more than we could have dreamed for in the place, the setting, the kindred spirits and generosity of our hosts, Leslie and Mitch, the FOOD!!!!. What they are creating here is what the world... More

Rancho Gallina provides a soulful environment for rest and relaxation. The environs and rhythm of the Ranch are restorative. The hosts (owners) make it look so easy -- when in fact, it's the thoughtfulness of what is happening all around you that makes one realize what it means to be a responsible steward of this earth and this precious part... This place is nothing short of fantastic. The rooms are clean, well-equipped, and boast their own unique character. If you are looking for a "Santa Fe" getaway, this should be your home-base. The owners, Mitch and Leslie, have made this place their passion and you can feel it when you are here. Mitch put thought and skill into the breakfast.... More

I look forward all year to the time we spend at Rancho Gallina. The space, accommodations, and most especially the proprietors are amazing. And then there is the food! The quick drive into Santa Fe makes this the perfect location. We will be back!

The Rancho Gallina is midway between Santa Fe and Madrid, on the Turquoise Trail. Because of this, it's a truly peaceful place to stay. The drive in either direction was only 20 minutes and very beautiful. We had the Moroccan room, which was ideal for the two of us. The room and the grounds were exceptionally attractive. Our hosts, Mitch... More

Myself and three others stayed in the SIlverado Suite for 3 nights after a long camping trip, and I must say, Rancho Gallina was exactly the recovery we needed. Our room was spacious, clean, attractive and stocked with a delicious local coffee. The many community spaces offered were tastefully furnished and laid out in such a way that you could... More

Rancho Gallina is a wonderful stay in the serene countryside outside of Santa Fe. Let's start off with what makes a bed & breakfast: the bed and breakfast! Our room was huge and very comfortable. We stayed in the Kiva suite, which had an ample bedroom with a desk, wardrobe, fireplace, and lounge chair. Then it also had another large... More
