We loved our room in the one-story Hacienda Nicholas across the little street from The Madeleine. The decorations were straight forward, not froufrou and belaboured, with simple, white adobe walls, wooden floor & beams, area rugs, good lighting, and a nice clean feel. The breakfast was serves in a lovely courtyard, and the innkeeper of 28 years knows her stuff... More

The Madelaine Inn and its neighbouring Hacienda Nicholas must be one of the top ten places to stay in Santa Fe. Unlike most hotels and motels, the rooms are large and comfy, with plenty of space to spread out for a relaxing stay. And there is a tasty breakfast in the morning, with a wine and cheese happy hour in... More

We stayed at the Madeleine for a weekend Mom & daughter getaway and it was simply delightful! We felt so welcomed by the staff from the moment we arrived. They gave us some great restaurant recommendations and helped make our trip to Santa Fe one we'll always remember. The breakfast was not only delicious, but also a nice taste of... More

I traveled solo for pleasure for the first time and, based onTA's ratings, booked the Madeleine Inn for 5 nights. I was so happy that I did. The inn is conveniently located, tucked away in a quiet area but within easy walking distance to the places that I wanted to visit, the Plaza and Canyon Road. The staff is superb,... More

Best location in Santa Fe. Easy walk to plaza, Canyon art shops, restaurants. Short drive to museums. Casual informal with wonderful people from owner to reservation staff and everyone in between. The Madeline is historic with interesting art and collections from around the world. Grounds have quiet peaceful sitting areas with xeriscape flower beds throughout. This is our third visit... More

My wife and I stayed here last weekend to celebrate our 45th anniversary. The staff was exceptional - friendly, helpful, and attentive to detail. Overall one of the best B&Bs we have experienced. The facility is historic, interesting, and very pretty, and the location is ideal with a 5 minute walk to the plaza and museums. Highly recommend !!!

We had been on the road for a week visiting monuments throughout the southwest. The Madeleine Inn was the perfect place to settle while we were in the Santa Fe area. The Forsythia suite was perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable, the fireplace perfect to keep the chill away, and we could not hear a thing from outside. Breakfast every... More

We have been wanting to visit the plaza for years. We finally decided to do it for our 26th anniversary. I looked at different hotels and nothing seemed to catch my eye. Looked into bed and breakfast places. The Madeline just kept grabbing my attention. We booked the Morning Glory. We stayed 2 days and loved it. Breakfast was awesome... More

My wife and I were on a vacation to see the Southwest. This is our 40th anniversary and neither of us have spent much time in this area. After flying into Denver our first stop was in Santa Fe. After the long drive from Denver we got to Santa Fe late, and exhausted. Fortunately the Inn text us instructions and... More

We tend to prefer staying at B&Bs when traveling, for various reasons, and The Madeleine in Santa Fe confirmed that we get at least this part of traveling right. The perfect mix of charm and hospitality. Everyone who worked there was incredibly friendly and helpful in person, happy to do whatever they could to make the stay pleasant, and always... More
