A trip to New Mexico, the "land of enchantment"! A recent four day visit to the Madeline Inn was a repeat trip for me (third visit) over several years. The attention to detail certainly is part of the charm, from fresh coffee and lemon infused water and freshly baked cookies in the lobby, to the guidebooks and maps available for... More

The Madeline Inn is a very charming hotel. Carolyn Lee, our innkeeper, was gracious and extremely helpful. Breakfasts were a delight. There was a different menu each day; many of the selections were representative of Southwest cuisine. One had a choice of breakfast inside or outside on the patio surrounded by a lovely garden. We are looking forward to returning... More

We spent four nights at the Madeleine over the Labor Day weekend and it wasn't nearly long enough! We'd never been to Santa Fe so didn't know what this part of town would be like, but it was perfect. Situated on a quiet dead-end street but a very short and easy walk to many restaurants, galleries and shopping. Everyone working... More

We stayed at the Madeleine Inn for a week. Our lovely, very private room was the Violet. It was quiet, spotless, roomy and comfortable. The inn is charming and within walking distance to the plaza, great shopping and excellent dining. The staff and owner, Carolyn Lee, are experts at hospitality and were helpful with sightseeing suggestions and directions. Each morning... More

This place is absolutely wonderful. The location is supreme. Just enough off the plaza for a peaceful stay and close enough for a perfect walk. There are so many nooks and crannies for reading, drinking wine and tea and just simple relaxation. Everyone at The Madeleine was very accommodating and super friendly. We will definitely stay there again!

Well, I'm not a party gal, but I like to see everything once. If you don't like crowds, you can miss the Zozobra Burning. The Madeleine Inn was just enough walking blocks away from the square - that it was blissfully quiet. Away from the fray. Quaint room, charmed with old grandeur = yet everything works. Very good food. Felt... More

when asked "what sort of trip was this?" i can answer "business, couples, family, friends, and solo", having stayed at the madeleine in all of these various incarnations. the madeleine inn is fabulously comfortable, elegant, friendly, private, and convenient. off-street parking and access to santa fe plaza makes it a super easy place to park and walk. i also enjoy... We love B & B's when we travel. We had little to go on but the online reviews and were not disappointed. The Madeleine is at the end of a dead in street giving it an atmosphere of seclusion, yet you are close to all of the activities of the "Plaza" and easy access to the other activities we had... More

My husband and I have stayed at The Madeleine for many years and always look forward to returning. It is a very short walk to the historic plaza so most of the time you don't even need to move your car although plenty of parking is available. The rooms are immaculately clean, attractive and well-cared for. Delicious full breakfasts are... More

Location: A leisurely ten minute stroll right between the heart of the Plaza of Old Santa Fe (where you will want to spend much of your time), and Canyon Road, home to many of Santa Fe's beautiful art galleries, the Madeleine Inn is in a fantastic spot: quiet, but convenient. Staff: I called with a last minute booking, but George... More
