I made reservations too late to book one of the less expensive inns or B&B's right in town. Without knowing much about Santa Fe, I booked the Budget Host Inn mostly because they had rooms available two weeks before the trip in late August. We were looking for something budget in Santa Fe, and quickly realized that that was not quite realistic. We checked out the La Quinta and Comfort and both were well over $100 for a night.
