My friend and I spent a Sunday and Monday here. The room we had was nice (186) but we saw some of the others and there were very run down. The deck from this room has a beautiful view. In THIS room (most rooms are different and might be better but most likely are worse) the bathroom is huge and... More

This place has a wonderful location nestled in a verdant valley with lush green grounds only a few miles from the Plaza. It is an oasis in arid Northern New Mexico. It is also a part of Santa Fe history -- Bishop Lamy, immortalized in Willa Cather's Comes to the Archbishop, had his retreat here and his chapel is still... More

First, full disclosure: my boyfriend and I won a week at the Bishop's Lodge through a charity auction so what we paid was far less than if we stayed a week outright so I'm writing this as not having paid $200/night or whatever the actual rate is. We loved Bishop's Lodge. We were there the week of December 14 and... More

If you love Santa Fe, New Mexico, or just the American South Western, Native American artwork and jewelry, a wood burning fire in a Kiva, adobe architecture, delicious food & drink, horses and deer, and the smell of Pinon pine ...Bishop's Lodge is for YOU!! A very short drive from downtown Santa Fe, this is a lovely place to hang... More

We checked in on 12/29. The previous guest's Christmas tree was sitting on our patio and their broken Christmas lights, hanging from our front door light. In 4 days they were never removed. Had to have maintenance to the room 3 times our first night for a broken TV, fire place and toilet. Housekeeping would replace towels, empty trash and... More

Just got back from 4 nights at this so called resort and all I can say is stay away. The lodge is in need of a lot of updating and the staff is terrible. Check-in was a mess as well as room service. The staff didn't even take the time to clear the walkway areas and stairs after a snow... More

I called in advance to ask about available activities - they told me about skeet shooting, horse riding, mountain biking and hiking. "Perfect" I thought for a 3 day family vacation. Upon arrival, the disinterested female staff person said we were too early and check in isn't until 4. Early check in, not even close to being possible. No offer... More

I bought 4-night special through JetBlue (I do not suggest doing that because it creates shady billing later). Considering that I paid over $500 for 4 nights for two, I paid premium price for this resort at this season. Yes, the rooms are frozen and have a very heavy smell of firewood (some people like it, I do not). They... More

We looked forward to an overnight stay while visiting relatives in Santa Fe, but we will not stay again. The online price very clearly specified: Room 129.35, Fees (zero), and Tax 13.77 for an Itinerary total of $143.12. When we cked in a $14.50 resort fee was added, which we questioned. We were told it was for "coffee in the... More

The property itself is great- great location, views etc. But this is outweighed by the difficulty in dealing with the staff. There were several problems in booking, and constant small issues throughout the stay. The major issue is that when I left a few pieces of clothing behind after my stay, it has taken 5+ weeks and 6 international phone... More
