We recently stayed at Bishop's Lodge for one night and loved the grounds. However, we did not realize they were getting ready to renovate the property. Therefore, we had to find a restaurant off the property for dinner after traveling 7 hours in the car. And no bar up and running. Our room was very comfortable and we did love... More

Last summer I wrote a long afformative review about Bishop's Lodge which sonehow never made it online...but I wanted to be sure and respond to the naysayers re Bishop's Lodge. We have stayed at this non-glitzy, peaceful, very family friendly lodge many times over the years. We always stay in the exact same rooms in one of the older buildings... More

This is a great dog friendly hotel and the room was amazing! However the pool, restaurant and bar were all closed due to a recent change of ownership? The person at check in was horrible. She said all information is listed on the website (which I had to dig for but did find - see below). That evening I went... More

This property is "bare bones" until they begin and complete the much-promised renovation. There are basically no services, no restaurant, no coffee, etc. until that occurs. When I was there two weeks ago, it hadn't. However, we were given room #208, which was spacious, a king bed, gas fireplace, large clean bathroom, an outdoor terrace outside the room that overlooked... More

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Bishop's Lodge with my boyfriend. Great time of year with snow melt that filled the Little Teseque Creek and made for a wonderful hike through the property. Awesome room with a stunning view, very private and great for a romantic getaway. Staff was friendly and professional. Only issues to be aware of at this... More

The Bishop Lodge in Santa Fe will be undergoing renovations, who knows when. Only 30 of the 90+ rooms are available, the restaurant is NOT opened and they do not serve food, only a small continental breakfast and afternoon refreshments. The whole property is in bad shape, it needs lots of care and or renovation from top to bottom. The... More

Stayed for two nights after several nights of camping. We were in Lamry, which must have been a newly renovated room with a gas fireplace and private courtyard. The room had so much charm! The resort amenities are currently closed, however they still offer a complimentary breakfast and horseback riding. Only a few miles from downtown Santa Fe. I would... More

The property is getting ready to undergo a huge renovation, otherwise we probably could not afford to stay here. The property is beautiful and serene and historic. The room was dated, but clean. The restaurant, pool and spa were closed, but this did not really have any affect on us.

Better prices than other places - room was very nice and comfortable. However, was supposed to be a gallery tour and chapel tour included. I was told they no longer did the gallery tour because the guy who did them was no longer there. Also - was told we could just go to the chapel - which was onsite -... More

Where do I start with this abysmal excuse for lodging. The ceiling is cracked around the vent in the bathroom. The air conditioner is serenading me with an annoying clicking. The actual thermostat is cracked, but it still works. The blinds won't completely close. The room is stuffy. There is no wood for the fireplace. The rug is absolutely gross.... More
