We stayed here again the 4th of March..Room very nice and clean. Quite affordable and would stay there again if we are out that way. The rooms aren't super large but very but served our needs. Easy to get to and close to a casino. The casino was quite smokey so we didn't spend much time there. The beds were... More

For 10 plus years I had been stopping at the Cities of Gold Hotel and Casino at least twice a year. In November of 2012. I booked in for several days. The room was absolutely bad! Smelled and had small bugs. The Carpet was horrible. After a couple of Days of losing money at the Casino, I moved on. Because... More

Stayed here with my daughters on our recent ski trip (46 miles to Sipapu/31 miles to Ski Santa Fe). The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. We stayed 3 nights and they didn't clean our room and replace towels one day. Also, there was no hot water for a while one of the days. Though we... More

I was unsure of staying at this hotel after reading the reviews. The room was VERY clean and for the price we were so pleased. They were running a special the week of Christmas and we stopped there on our way home. The Casino and snack bar are way too smokey. We were disappointed that our 14 year old son... More

We have been coming to this hotel for numerous years and have watched it decline I'm quality and service but this time it was "bad". They did not have our reservations, they refused to give us our promised promotional rate and had absolutely no competence at check in. In addition, they claimed we did not inform them of our pets... We stopped at this little casino on our way back from Los Alamos..It is right at the junction to the main highway and we wanted to take a little break. It has a first, time sign up bonus, but we didn't realize that Buffalo Thunder and this casino were on the same card. Had we known, we would have stopped... More

While the layout inside is interesting, it's definitely dated. Down the center of the lower hallways are what is now rock "garden" with some ailing plants, while the second story is open to the lower level. The elevator rattles and is slow and a bit scary, and the housekeepers were still "cleaning" at four. The room booked online was nothing... More

While the hotel is nice inside, they have no customer service skills at all. We had previously received coupons for discounted stays, but nothing current. Told us too bad, we booked on-line. Casino Host was no help either. Service gets worse though. Our Jeep broke down and was towed to Barth Kia (great place), had no way to get there.... More

My wife and I, quite familiar with Santa Fe area, chose to go to the Santa Fe Opera to see a production of Bizet's Pearl Fishers. It ends late at night, so a nearby hotel is necessary. We prebooked on the Internet a King bedded single, and were overjoyed with the result! For $74 total cost, all taxes and fees... More
