We stayed at Terrain in September and i'm not sure that I can capture in words how wonderful and lovely we found it to be. The property is beautiful and peaceful and Lucinda and Shirley have put an incredible amount of thought into every detail. The grounds are lovely, with an outdoor fireplace, fountains and even an a luxurious outdoor... More

I was hesitant to write a review, because I am afraid so many people will find out how amazing this place is I won't be able to get a reservation! It truly lived up to all the reviews here. It is within 10 minutes of the town, but you feel like you are far away from the crowds. The innkeepers... More

This was my first visit to Santa Fe and Taos, and the surprise when arrived at Terrain was very pleasant. Beautiful place covered with snow, the Casita in front of the big house - across from the wash - is oriented so that the light becomes a spectacle, sunrise and sunset are wonderful. The stay was short but very pleasant,the... More

We stayed at Terrain earlier this year and it was an amazing experience. Neither my wife and I had been to a bed and breakfast before and we had some doubts about staying in an old house filled with antiques and nick nacks. Terrain made all of those fears go away. We stayed in a new private home that was... More

We stayed in the East/West House for several days after my husband's most recent deployment. It was simply the best choice to relax, reconnect, and rejuvenate after many months apart. Every need has already been anticipated. I could have just shown up with the clothes on my back and required nothing else. The superb kitchen area allowed us the flexibilty... More

I use trip advisor quite a bit to check ratings on places to stay but this is only the second time I have left feedback. I felt it would be a disservice to our wonderful hosts if i didnt. The property and atmospehere is beautiful, very tranquil and relaxing. Lucinda and Shirley were wonderful and provided great treats and wine... More

This review, though long overdue, is no less heartfelt. We are locals who took an overnight on the other side of town. We couldn't have been more thrilled to find Terrain and will recommend it to our out of town guests. From the reservation process to farewells, our less than 24 hours were filled with above-our-expectations experiences. Spectacular surroundings, exquisite... More

My husband and I visited Santa Fe, New Mexico last week. We were enchanted by our visit and with Terrain Santa Fe, our Bed and Breakfast retreat. Terrain is located a very short drive from the center of the City and herein lies this beautiful place’s first strength, it’s location. Surrounded by eight stunning acres, you feel at one with... I loved the peacefulness of Terrain and the attention to every detail the owners took to make their guests feel relaxed and pampered. This is an exceptional B&B for a long weekend or week long get away and words can not describe the beauty of the rooms and cozy outdoor verandas. The breakfast cuisine is absolutely delicious. I will go... More

I hesitate to write a review of Terrain - our main fear being we won't get a future booking! However I did promise Lucinda and Shirley (whom we took to calling the Dynamic Duo and if you read on you will see why) that I would as I truly would like them to be the no. 1 Bed and Breakfast... More
