Staying at this motel brought me back about 40 or so years. I wanted to stay at a place with some character vs a chain motel that removes any sense of place. The Silver Saddle is a good choice for a budget motel that reflects New Mexico through and through. Although it is on a very busy and noisy street... More

What a great motel! Silver Saddle is a fun place to stay overnight or a few nights while visiting Santa Fe. We were greeted with friendliness and given thoughts on where to dine that evening. An added bonus is the continental breakfast. That was a nice surprise! It included bread for toast, cereal, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, fruit, coffee, orange... More

My wife and I spent two nights here on a budget weekend trip to Santa Fe. We didn't expect anything fancy at that price but we were pleasantly surprised. Miguel at the desk was WONDERFUL every time we interacted and breakfast was surprisingly full of options. Our room was cute and homey and we enjoyed being at the end in... More

This is a wonderful motel and a true bargain. The thing is, you don't feel like you are in the middle of a bargain. You feel like you are at home. Our room, "The Little Buckaroo" was clean, cute, and cozy. Decorations included a shadow box with a child's cowboy vest and the "Cowboy Ten Commandments" by Gene Autrey. It... More

Traveling solo and as a single parent, a budget option was my only option. Thank goodness for places like the Silver Saddle which allows even us ”blue collar workers" to experience the richness of this town! Check in was easy and professional. I liked being able to park my rental car right in front of my room to carry in... More

Santa Fe can be pricey, but when you just want a bed for the night in a clean, inexpensive place, the Silver Saddle is for you. Every room has a cowboy/girl theme, comfortable bed(s), TV, mini-frig, free wi-fi and a free continental breakfast - all for a reasonable price. Throw in friendly, helpful staff and you have a winning combination.

Loved this place so much. Cute and clean rooms. Great heating. Super friendly staff and nice guests too. Can't even compare the welcome you get to most low-budget chain motels. Perfect intro to the coolness that is Sante Fe.

We had a wonderful stay in this "Gem". Not a cookie cutter chain hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful they treated everyone like family. Rooms were quaint, very clean and beds very comfortable. We would be sure to stay here again. Pat from Canada

Great place to stay! Loved the vintage hotel with all the western decor! Breakfast included bagels, toast, waffles, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, cereal, sweet roll, coffee..... Not too shabby! Staff very friendly and helpful with where to go in the area! The hotel is on old Route 66 and full of charm! Well worth the price!
