This was our 4th time to stay at the Silver Saddle and we enjoyed it as well as the first time. We stayed 4 nights during Indian Market. Our room this time was one of the pet friendly rooms with tile floors, queen bed and bath with shower only (no tub). The room was spacious enough for 2 people and... More

This was the cheapest motel in our three month journey, but one of the best. Each room has its own individual western décor, and although the room and the bathroom were smallish it was clean and comfortable. The office service was friendly and helpful, and their recommendations spot-on. Breakfast in the courtyard was better than adequate in lovely surroundings. Another... More

I cannot say enough positive things about the staff at the Silver Saddle. We were also pleased with our room and comfortable beds. The wifi is of the type that there is no gateway so you can use a Chromecast or any other device but remember that means you aren't isolated. Full selection of Xfinity cable with On Demand. Our... The Silver Saddle Motel is an older place on one of the main thoroughfares in Santa Fe. The walls are thick which drowns out the street noise and most of the neighbors talking. Rooms are clean but on the small side, the bathrooms are one person at a time and the showers are minuscule with minimal soap/shampoo. That being said,... More

Despite good reviews, I was a little hesitant to book in a place with a cowboy/old-time Western theme. But the decor was tasteful, the place well cared for, the staff consistently pleasant and helpful, the breakfast plentiful and the outdoor patio where we could choose to eat pleasant and quiet even though just behind a wall from a busy road.... I really cannot say anything that has not been said below about this hotel and agree with all the positive remarks. It is not a holiday inn, but rather an old style Route 66 motor court. See picture. It is mostly one story, you park your car in front of your room. The rooms where clean and decorated with cowboy... More

Stayed here for 2 nights from good reviews from TA. I was disappointed that not only that they charged me $20 a day for pet. Their wasn't a pet area anywhere. Not a patch of grass for my dog to do her business. I had to drive somewhere else for my dog to do her business. This isn't a pet... More

I've stayed in a great variety of hotels, this one made a great impression! The cowboy theme is enough to be cute and kitschy, but definitely not overkill. I arrived later in the evening, after a phone call from the front desk to make sure there would be someone there to greet me. The lobby/office area is decorated with all... More

The rooms are big, clean and decorated in a nice way. The beds are very comfortable. The staff at the reception friendly and supportive. The breakfast was much better than in the rest of motels where we stayed during our trip to the US.

When we arrived we were a bit dubious as it didn't look that great, but the rooms were cute and very, clean. Breakfast was as advertised and plenty of fruit, toast and bagels etc available. I'd stay again, value for money wise it couldn't be beaten.
