Comfortable rooms decorated in Southwestern style. Bed was very comfortable and loved the linens and pillow selection. Mini-fridge was nice feature to have. Asked for a room away from street & was placed in one on back of building. They provide free shuttle service to and from Plaza. Service must be requested, not automatic, at front desk. more
Not your run of the mill courtyard. It appears to have been a diffrent brand hotel previously that has been renovated and added on too. This property had little kitchenets and was motelish in the respect that you could easily park near your room. The staff was friendly and in a city of over priced hotels, it had great value.... more
This hotel is on Cerillos drive, "hotel row", but it was easy to get to and from the Plaza (a parallel street helped during recent road work). Upscale rooms (nice linens), not overly large but very comfortable. Lobby staff was helpful, professional. Indoor "heated" pool was cold (frigid), and jacuzzi was not even close to hot enough. For a large... more
We have stayed at this property several times and enjoyed it. Booked online, requesting room we have previously stayed in for four nights and called hotel to confirm several days before arriving. Got to the hotel and front desk could not find our reservation--fortunately I always travel with my printout. Needless to say our room was booked, but clerk upgraded... more
Booked this room the day of arrival through Priceline for $40/night. Marriott's website was offering $99/night. Property is large (more than 200 rooms) but still feels welcoming. Location is on Cerrillos Road, not in the Plaza area, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby (I suggest Bumble Bee's just down the street). Rooms have been recently remodeled and include mini-fridges.... more
Another website said there were renovations here in 2005, but they appear to be completing another round in mid-2008. Our room was complete--a suite with new carpet, plumbing, furnishings, etc. and it was clean and comfortable. However, I could see that there was still some work to be done on some other rooms. The lobby, hallways, etc. were very neat... more
The Residence Inn was $100/night more than the Courtyard we had an regular room then transferred to a 1 BDR suite. I like the separate bedroom because I wake up so much earlier than my wife and daughter and I have a place to relax rather than find a cofee shop or hang in the lobby. The remodeling is almost... more
I am a huge fan of the Marriott chain of hotels. Every stay has always been totally awesome and I always get a very nice, lovely, clean and comfortable room. Until now. You know, I pulled up in front of the hotel and thought to myself, "self, this doesn't look good". Self was right. First off, I didn't get the... more
I visited the spectacular Santa Fe not once but TWICE in 2005—the first time for the famed Writer's Conference and the second time for business. In the latter instance, I stayed at this Courtyard due to the excellent corporate rate my client had. The front desk put me in a quiet location, a nice touch considering that a national conference... more
