We stayed in a Casita, # 406. This unit was huge. It had a huge master bedroom with a king size bed, a pretty good sized area with 2 chairs and a table, a separate area with a desk, a second room for 2 other guests or children, a good sized bathroom and shower area. This unit also had a... more

Good feature: The grounds are lovely. Bad news: Service is horrible from the front desk to the restaurant staff. We made and confirmed the reservations by phone. When we arrived the front desk staff seemed preoccupied with discussing their personal issues rather than taking care of us. When they did change their focus, we were informed that we didn't have... more

My sister's wedding was held here on 9/20/08. First, the good; the grounds are beautiful. It is secluded, quiet and quintessentially Santa Fe. If you are looking for perfectly-manicured and overdone, you may not be happy here. It is definitely earthy, just my kind of place. Our casita was well-appointed. There was a bathrobe and the freebies were free-flowing. There... more

Well where do I start. When I arrived the front desk seemed like unprofessional back woods kind. Hot reception area. Stayed in a garden room and boy I felt like I went back to the 70's. Very small tv dated furniture and bugs and birds for days not to mention the many mosquitos. The trip down a rocky dirt road... more

We stayed two nights in a Garden View room and enjoyed our stay wandering around the grounds. As others have mentioned, Sunrise Springs is about 15 miles south of the Santa Fe Plaza area and is not convenient for sightseeing (museums and shopping) in Downtown Santa Fe, but it is a very nice place for a tranquil, relaxing getaway. We... more

This place has decent rooms, but we had water leakage all over our carpet and since they were full we moved to a different hotel. They then tried to charge my credit card for the full three days even after the clerk checked me out that night and charged me for nothing. To me this is fraudulent. The food was... more

Our agent recommended this place and I'm glad she did. It is a lovely little find, full of nature and peaceful. It's about 15 minutes from downtown Santa Fe. If you look at the map, it seems like they are too close to the highway for it to be silent, but it is indeed a very quiet and peaceful property.... more

I really enjoyed the accomodations, food and atmosphere at Sunrise Springs. I stayed here for a workshop I was attending and was assigned a wonderful roomate in the garden view room we shared. Everything was clean, new and bright in our room. Fresh water bottles were left for us every day. There was a large, high ceiling room at the... more

I plan events for small nonprofit groups and can honestly say that this was the best experience I have ever had with any retreat space or hotel. We held two convenings there in 2007. The food was delicious and the staff always responsive. They helped us deal with suddenly-discovered food allergies, vegetarians, and a car that broke down. There was... more

We highly recommend Sunrise Springs for a relaxing, fun retreat and "base of operations" near Santa Fe. The property is lovely. Be sure to stay in a casita--they are spacious, very comfortable and and oh so soothing to return to after a day in the hot Southwestern sun. Everything was very well maintained and very clean. We enjoyed the food... more
