My husband and I just spent three nights at the Inn of the Turquoise Bear. We stayed in the Spud Johnson room, and it was wonderful! The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, and Dan was a wonderful host! We appreciated his advice before we got there for restaurant recommendations, and his suggestions while we were there for daytime activities. Highly recommend!

When we arrived, Dan was the consummate host making sure everything was described to us in detail. When Dan found out I was gluten intolerant he went WAY above and beyond to make sure my dining requirements were met even to the point of putting out gluten free cookie snacks and getting a gluten free cereal for breakfast. It's always... More

Would definitely come back. Very lovely place close walk to plaza. Breakfast and company was great. Going to get a gift certificate for our family members to stay there! We stayed in the Willa Cather room which was lovely. Main building and dining areas were beautiful and in keeping with the landscape of the area. We did not see the... More

Even in March our gardens are something aren't they Manette! Our guests enjoy being so close to all of Santa Fe's offerings while feeling as though they are at a mountain retreat while at our Inn. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Inn of the Turquoise Bear. The location was perfect, close enough to downtown to walk yet near great roads for running (which we did every morning!). The Willa Cather room was comfortable and there was no issue with the shared bathroom. It felt special staying in a hotel which had lodged... More

My husband and I accompanied by our chihuahua stayed four nights at the Inn; two nights in the Igor Stravinsky room & the last two in Spud J. My favorite was the Stravinsky - Spud a bit too rustic for me, but my husband really liked it. We truly enjoyed each delicious breakfast prepared by Dan the Innkeeper. He is... More

Dan, the innkeeper, is a great host. The Inn is wonderfully appointed, comfortable, and quiet. He also has a wonderfully rich travel blog and I highly recommend it to any Santa Fe visitor. I would definitely return.

We recently had the pleasure of staying for a weekend at The Turquoise Bear. It was a family trip with 7 children and 3 adults total. We all enjoyed our stay very much, the food was excellent, the rooms comfortable quirky, and Dan was very accommodating and friendly! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

I love the Turquoise Bear. The rooms are charming, and the breakfasts divine. Dan even serves a smoothie shot to get the meal started, and he has wonderful stories about the inn's artistic guests and history. The dining room is stunningly gorgeous. Don't miss this place.
