Dan was wonderful, the Inn was just what we were looking for... close walking distance to shopping, restaurants and interest points. The Inn was warm and cozy even though it turned cold outside. The fireplace was wonderful with snow falling outside. The breakfasts were terrific with options and hot selections of the day. And the wine....it was fun to sip... More

We love to celebrate special occassions with our guests! It was a pleasure to celebrate your anniversary with you David & Susan! We know you enjoyed the Shaman Room and the rest of our charming Inn while you we're here! It gave us a nice opportunity to get to know you better! Thank you for the kind review! More

A great four night stay. Dan and his staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were excellent and we enjoyed chatting to the other travellers. The room was comfortable but probably requires updating soon. Easy walk into town and the choice of many restaurants.

Thank you for the review Roger & Neil. We enjoyed having you with us for a nice long stay! As new owners of the Inn we agree with you about updating the Ansel Adams room. Since your visit, we've added new artwork, new area rugs, a new TV and soon we will be adding new window treatments! Happy travels to... More

From the friendly man who met us in the parking lot to carry our bags up the steps, to Dan helping orient us to restaurants and galleries, we felt immediately at home. The entry has a cozy fire place and sitting area where wine is served at 5 pm. There's a tea station and yummy baked goods fresh each day... More

In a word, "wonderful". We enjoyed Dan's hospitality, his knowledge of the area sites, and great breakfasts. The Inn is comfortable (beautiful and historic) and our room was spacious and very clean. Wonderful!! BTW - Sante Fe is a great getaway (from Chicago). Lots to do and see regardless of your interests. (Dan at the Inn can help plan your... More

Roger and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Inn of the Turquoise Bear. Thanks to Dan and team for making our wedding weekend a success and fun time for our guests. Dan helped in providing information on bakeries, florists and coordinating the event. The breakfasts were incredible, the evening receptions enjoyable. The rooms were warm and cozy. The... More

Lovely property, short walking distance to historical Sante Fe. Rooms offer different amenities, ours had a cozy fireplace in the room. Breakfast was nutritious and delicious. Very gracious host! The outside property had several nook garden areas for sitting. Very nicely laid out.

Guests often comment how much they enjoy being able to walk to all of Santa Fe's attractions while not feeling like they are in the city! We have 10 guests rooms with fireplaces and each room is very unique. Thank you for the reivew Kathy! Happy Travels! More

My son and I stayed at the Turquoise Bear and loved it. Great location, wonderful rooms, tasty breakfast. We also enjoyed reading about the unique history of the house -- it can be felt in every room.

Witter Bynner's estate just oozes history doesn't it Joana! We are so happy to be stewards of his estate while providing our guests an opportunity to speculate what it might have been like to be here among such literary and musical greats! Thank you for the review! More

We just returned from 5 days in Santa Fe and stayed at the Inn of the Turquoise Bear. Everything exceeded our expectations ... we received a very warm welcome from our host, Dan. Our first night in the Inn we were invited to share in a wedding celebration that had occurred earlier that evening, complete with champaign and wedding cake.... More

For more years than I can actually remember, I've spent four days each July at the Inn, where I stay while I'm at a conference in Santa Fe. This past year, I wondered a little what my stay would be like. Over the years, I'd become friendly with the former owners, but the Inn had been sold, and I didn't... More

Thank you for the kind review Dave! As new owner, it's so gratifying to have reassuring feedback from prior guests! As we make improvements to our guest's experience, we aim to retain the authentic feel of Witter's rambling adobe estate and lush gardens while adding some new color, comfort, and amenities. More

My family and I enjoyed a long weekend get-away at the Turquoise Bear. The suites were all very comfortable - cozy and charming with all the thoroughly authentic adobe detail one would hope to find in an historic property in Santa Fe. We particularly appreciated the proprietor's pet friendly policy and their accommodation of our 3 geriatric dogs. Our entourage... More

We so enjoy when families book the inn for reunions and special occasions! We now have 4 rooms that are pet friendly and love creating a great experience for the "entire" family! Loved getting to know you all better during our Halloween party, at breakfast and with wine in the living room! Thank you for the review! More
