That's what we thought when we got out of the car! The grounds of this B & B are simply the most gorgeous we've ever seen (and we've seen plenty)! Nooks and crannies full of flowers and seating arrangements, tables and chairs means you can be quiet and cozy, or social and animated! We were travelling with our grown daughter... More

Recently spent three nights at the Turquoise Bear B&B in Santa Fe. The property once was the residence of the poet Witter Bynner, and the rooms are named after his famous guests. The place is beautifully unique - great rooms, gardens, breakfast and fellow guests. The hosts are very gracious. We plan to visit again in the very near future.

We stumbled upon this wonderful B&B and we were so lucky! The property was beautiful, our room was big and comfortable and Dan the innkeeper was incredible!!! I am not sure what we liked best??? The breakfast, the wine on the porch or Dan's great tips of what to do and eat. You can walk to everything or stay local... More

Dan, the proprietor, is an innkeeper extraordinaire. In addition to being a fabulous cook, he has gone to great lengths to think of every little thing a traveler might need for comfort and convenience. From the sumptuous breakfasts to the flower-filled gardens gardens with plenty of outdoor gathering places to my well appointed room (St. Vincent Millay) I thoroughly enjoyed... More

We have been coming to the Inn of the Turquoise Bear for years and were sad to see that the Inn had been sold to new owners. But our fears were misplaced because the Inn is as fun and welcoming as ever with the addition of new upgrades. Dan is a terrific host and he has wisely kept the old... More

When we came there I was completely unprepared to what I saw - an old adobe house in a beautiful garden, surrounded with pines and flowers. The rooms have separate entrances and are small, not very comfortable according to modern standards, but this place is so special I would never exchange it for modern comfort. Plus, the size of the... More

As usual, we enjoyed our 7th stay at the Inn which was during our yearly trip to Santa Fe for opera, music, museum tours, great dining and hiking. This is a beautiful property, short walk to the plaza and dining, well maintained, helpful and courteous staff and great breakfasts. I'd recommend it without reservation. Kris and Dennis

Kris & Dennis. Thank you for the review. It was great getting to know you better on your return trip to Santa Fe and the Inn. You took advantage of all of Santa Fe's charms...hiking, art markets on the plaza, fine restaurants, and some down-time on our patio. We're looking forward to your visit next year during the Folk Art... More

In the past, I have made comments about my annual trips to Santa Fe for the Santa Fe Opera, the Chamber Music Festival and other events that make the summer very delightfully musical every year. I have been a regular visitor to the Inn of the Turquoise Bear for these stays and have been most pleased by the accommodations. There... More

We spent one night while passing through Santa Fe, but wished we could have stayed at least 2 more. The inn is an absolute delight - charming room, whimsical gardens throughout the property, delicious food, and wine on the terraces in the evening. Dan and David even accommodated our golden retriever (and welcomed him with what appeared to be homemade... More
