We have just returned from a 4 night stay at the ITB, and wish we could have stayed for 40 nights! We have been staying at the Inn for more than a decade and love the whole experience - great old building, beautiful grounds, privacy, yummy breakfast and getting to spend time with Robert, Ralph and their great staff. This... More

I have been staying at the Inn of the Turquoise Bear for many years and have been most satisfied throughout that time. The Inn is a wonderful building which reflects what I look for when I visit Santa Fe. It certainly would not be confused with a modern ‘manufactured’ environment that can be found in most cities throughout the world... More

As of April 2014, the Turquoise Bear will be under new ownership. But this uniquely wonderful property has been purchased by two longtime guests, who will continue the great tradition of hospitality that has characterized this historical abode off the Old Santa Fe Trail since the 1920s. For those who are well-versed in local lore, a stay at the Turquoise... More

Our stay at the Inn of the Torquoise Bear was pure magic from the moment we arrived. Tom, the nightkeeper, met us at the door the night we arrived and fed us wine and local stories. Robert, a cook extroardinaire and hostess with the mostess provided us with delectable breakfasts, snacks and wine socials, as well as stories that exposed... More

My partner and I stayed and got married there. Beautiful place and great service. The location is in walking distance to restaurants and shops. The host were great and every evening you and the other guest gather for drinks and the mornings for a first class breakfast. I would and am recommending this place to friends

Had a great visit, Ralph and Robert are excellent hosts, the cocktail hours are fabulous, the breakfasts are just very elegant and hearty, the sheets soft and luxurious. Close to town and in a nice neighborhood, our dog enjoyed walking around the property. But the best part was to be made part of the family versus a guest for a... More

I arrived at the Turquoise Bear B&B to relax a few days before I had to attend meetings in Albuquerque. Everyone rolled out the red carpet and I felt so welcomed. The rooms where clean, decorated to the time era and at night you just fell into a extremely comfortable bed with my favorite type of pillow (fluffy) with a... More

Every reason to stay here and not one reason not to: Wonderful historic adobe estate, immaculately maintained. Excellent quiet location on Old Sante Fe Trail. Big complimentary breakfast cooked to order. My big Greyhound is welcome. But the best reason to stay here is Robert and Ralph treat their guests like Family - they really do!

We had a lovely stay during the winter with snow on the ground. The host was friendly and inviting and we felt like we could come and go as we pleased and use the common rooms at any time. It really felt like we were staying in someone's home. Breakfasts were delicious. This is a pet friendly place and the... More

I picked this inn sight unseen because I liked the name. What I found there exceeded my expectations. The property is just a couple of blocks from the plaza, but it feels like it's isolated because it's so spacious. The house is historic, and there were books in my room that told the story of the original owner. The evening... More
