This is a unique experience - a historic pueblo converted to a B&B in the heart of Santa Fe, close to downtown attractions, family-owned for several generations. We stayed in the Santa Clara room - beautifully furnished, adobe-style with exposed beams, lovely space. BUT there were scented laundry products used on the sheets, and for those of us who are... Pueblo Bonito was recommended by a friend who told me that it was in a great location, was an amazing value, was super southwesty and charming and that the owners were helpful and friendly without being intrusive. My friend was correct on all accounts! My sister and I stayed for four nights and had an incredibly pleasant visit - we... More

Santa Fe is just the perfect Southwest destination to get away and spend quality time with family! I'm thrilled to hear how much you and your sister enjoyed your stay at our historic Santa Fe bed and breakfast. That Southwestern charm you mentioned is really what sets our inn apart from any others in town -- with our hand-formed adobe... More

Stayed a couple nights June 23-24. Grandchildren ,along with my wife and I enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was very good and pleasant. Our suite was perfect for the four of us . All the staff plus the owners were very nice and helped out with info about the whole area in and around the northern part of New Mexico. Walkable... More

You're very welcome! It was wonderful to welcome you and your grandchildren to Santa Fe for a "mini adventure." Our location's perfect for taking a quick stroll into town -- there's no shortage of things to do and see, and Herb and I love giving suggestions for the day's itinerary! I'll be sure to let the rest of our team... More

Absolutely loved staying at this historic Inn. VEry well located. Restaurants, galleries, historic sites and museums were in easy walking distance. We did not need our car. Our hosts were helpful, informative and welcoming. The rooms are historic with thick adobe walls and ours had an antique not working metal mini kitchen from its days as an apartment. Very interesting.... More

It's wonderful to hear how much you enjoyed your stay, Betsy! I'm so glad you could take advantage of our convenient location -- simply leave the car and enjoy a 5-10-minute walk to the Plaza, passing several historical sites along the ways. Once you arrive, you'll have your pick of museums, galleries, shops, and restaurants to explore. And if you... More

We stay here whenever we visit Santa Fe. It is clean, comfortable, close to the Plaza. The hosts are lovely and the breakfast is great. We have had family reunions here as well as romantic getaways. It's not new, but it feels authentic Santa Fe.

Thanks for making us your favorite place to stay when you come to town! I love the last sentence of your review -- "it feels authentic Santa Fe." We've taken great care to keep all our original architecture in pristine condition, from the two-foot-thick, hand-formed adobe pueblo walls to the Indian bread oven from 1860. These gorgeous architectural elements give... More

This is an historic building, so If you like modern hotels and must have big bathrooms, all new and practical furniture, etc... it's not gonna be the place for you. But if you like charm, and appreciate a bohemian vibe, you're gonna enjoy as much as we did ! We loved staying at Pueblo Bonito and would recommend it to... More

You totally get what we're about, Scarlotto. Our commitment to historical authenticity and preserving all of our original architecture from 1860 is what sets us apart from every other hotel in town. We're not just another place to set down your stuff -- a stay with us is a one-of-a-kind experience that reflects the native culture and history of Santa... More

I really enjoyed my stay at this B&B. The owners and staff are all friendly and helpful. The breakfast is especially good with a lot of choices, fresh fruit, various cream cheeses for bagels, etc. It is nice that the rooms have kichenettes. The location is certainly convenient and the B&B is pretty easy to find. I certainly would recommend... More

It's just wonderful to hear how much you enjoyed your stay! We know how important it is to start the day with a hearty breakfast, so we offer a spread of everything from granola and low-fat yogurts to our homemade tamales -- arguably the tastiest in all of Santa Fe! And if you want to do a little cooking of... More

The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are quiet retreats with welcoming details just a short walk from the plaza and downtown. The owners and innkeepers are very friendly and are happy to recommend places to visit and see. The history makes this a special alternative to a hotel. The kitchenettes aren't really kitchenettes though and could use a little... More

Pueblo Bonita is a well located historic B and B. If I could I would give a rating of 3 1/2. The breakfast is good, the hosts are welcoming and the location is very good. What is not so good is the bathroom. I know that it is a historic building with very thick adobe walls that make it difficult... More

I can understand where you're coming from, 23andcounting -- with our two-foot-thick adobe walls, some of our bathrooms might not be quite as spacious as a modern-day bath. That said, a stay at our inn is about so much more than having somewhere to set down your stuff: It's an intentional experience! An experience that reflects the native culture and... More
