thanks to Amy and Herb for being such great hosts, also thanks to Strelsa (sp?) their manager in their absence, great cozy rooms, not large, but we hardly spent anytime in it,so not a concern, Amy has great info about the area, told us of "off the beaten path" locations to get some great NM green chile, love the fire place... The king suite we stayed in was very quaint, clean and relaxing. We had all the comforts of home. Amy made us feel like we were family and gave us advice to the local flavors and hideaways. We will definately be back.

Your kind words really made my day -- I'm so glad to know how much you enjoyed your suite and that you found it quaint, clean and relaxing! We love celebrating Santa Fe's rich history, which is why we designed each of our rooms with a particular tribe or village of the southwest in mind. As for exploring the city,... More

My wife children and I had a wonderful time last weekend at Pueblo Bonito. It was only for one night, but the stay was really nice and the breakfast tamales were delicious. We'd stay there again for sure.

Even if you were just here for a night, I'm thrilled to read how much you and your family enjoyed your stay, Erik. The red chile pork tamales that we serve each morning are more than breakfast -- they're a classic New Mexico treat, and a reflection of the rich culture and history that Santa Fe has to offer. In... My husband and I visit New Mexico every year for snowboarding and Santa Fe has always been our favorite destination. While we have stayed in many of the areas hotels/resorts over the years we really wanted something different this time around. Their amazing breakfast, adorable rooms and genuine suggestions about the area's attractions and happenings were exactly what we had... More

Kelli, your kind words mean so much to us. As a privately owned bed & breakfast, it's our personal touches and attention to detail that really set us apart and make our guests stay memorable. Our 2 ft thick, hand formed adobe walls and our authentic pueblo-style architecture reflect native culture and traditions. Each room is named after a local... More

My wife and I spent a lovely weekend at this charming Bed & Breakfast. It is nestled in a quiet section of central Santa Fe. It is an easy walk to the Plaza and all of its sites. The room was quaint with a full kitchen, along with the usual bathroom and bedroom. The room's best feature is the fireplace... More

This was just delightful to read, Les -- thanks for your kind words! I'm so glad you and your wife got to cozy up in front of one of our romantic in-room kiva fireplaces! It's perfect for those chilly winter months and as you state, is a distinguishing feature of our authentic historic adobe pueblo Santa Fe b&b rooms! As... More

We have great memories of this B&B- and probably the highlight of our time in Santa Fe. Pueblo Bonito had a great history and the adobe experience was a pleasant difference for us Yankees from Ohio. Highly recommended - you may want to call direct to see if there's availability - as they can't list all the unique features on... More

How great that we found this fantastic B&B on our first trip to Santa Fe! to be honest, we choose it for its location (right near the historic area) and the price (very reasonable, and included breakfast). What we found upon arrival was much more. We found lovely, warm innkeepers (Amy and Herb), a quaint and historic property, and new... More

Thanks for sharing your kind words, kenisom! It sounds like you got to enjoy some quiet time in our courtyard -- it's a great place to relax and enjoy a cocktail in the evenings, isn't it? And I'm so glad you got to check out some of Santa Fe's rich, unique history. We love being a stone's throw away from... More

Staying at Pueblo Bonito was the best decision we made during our trip to Santa Fe. The Inn was absolutely delightful! The room was perfect and we enjoyed having a fire each night. It's close to everything while feeling like you are secluded from the city. Amy, Herb, and Stresla were great host! We are excited to return!

If you are you looking for a slick "big Box Motel" Pueblo Bonito is not for you. This property originated at the turn of last century ,probably as the ranch home of a well to do Santa Fean out in the country near Santa Fe's modest "end of the trail" location. Today the home outbuildings and stables have been repurposed... More

Thanks so much for the review, Gowan. We're actually a bit older than you stated--over 154 years old! But there's plenty of charm to be found within our walls. Charm you just won't find at "big box" hotels. Each room is designed with a particular tribe or village of the southwest in mind, and the Taos is definitely a good... More
