We have traveled to Santa Fe several times and have decided that the The Inn on the Alameda is our favorite choice. We have stayed there several times, yet it always amazes me that members of the staff remember us. The impeccable rooms are so comfortable and so beautiful that it is easy to not want to leave. It has... more

Have been traveling to Santa Fe for 17+ years for fun & business; with family, with spouse, with friends. Have stayed at 8- 10 hotels/condo, etc. over the years. This is a favorite! There have been times it has been booked and stay somewhere else and miss: the friendliness, hominess, roomy rooms, balconies, gardens, free parking, fantastic breakfasts and wine reception... more

Husband and I had never traveled to Santa Fe so I reseached the many accommodations carefully. Inn on the Alameda was consistently rated as excellent. We were more than pleased with the friendly staff, delicious breakfast (especially the pastries), wine and tasty snacks in the pm, clean, comfortable rooms. After a busy day of walking, visiting the many shops or... more

Booked based on Tripadvisor reviews. The room was immacualate, the service above impeccable, the staff extremely knowledgeable and courteous. The Inn is located between the Plaza and Canyon Road and a very short drive to Museum Hill. We even changed a planned overnight excursion to a day trip so we could spend an extra night here...in going on 40 years... more

This place is hard to find... I passed it 2 times. It is worth the search. What a great experience! The room was small but comfortable and clean as a pin. The front desk made restaurant reservations for us at Luminaries, and all staff members were excellent. We stayed 3 nights and will plan another stay. The 4 pm "happy... more

Put the in laws up here while they were visiting and they loved it. With the included breakfast, nightly wine and cheese reception and central location it is a great value. We frequently use the Inn as our 'guest room' and have all ways been happy with the experience. Here is a quote from the old man "We had the... more

From greeting to goodbye, our stay here was perfect. Front desk staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our room was excellent. We stayed in Room 34, which had a private entrance with patio area, kiva fireplace, very comfortable king bed and large bath. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, the wine and cheese reception was a perfect afternoon break and... more

Loved this place. We arrived late at night after 9 hours in the car with two small children, so it is possible a Motel 6 would have seemed like an oasis. We had a room w/ a kiva FP in which we burned the delicious pinion they had stacked outside. The room itself was perfect for us, although I would... more

This is the second time we stayed at The Inn, the first time based on the glowing reviews, and the second time based on a great first stay. This time was quite a disappointment. When we spoke with the concierge, we asked to be placed in the same type of room we had booked on our other stay. When we... more

Can't add much to the glowing reviews, other than to affirm them. The staff was among the best we've ever experienced anywhere, every single one of them. Darryl is the "go to guy" for restaurants (trust his recommendations), Scott for hikes (geology, archeology etc. -- I'm told he was a geology prof at a local college -- take advantage of... more
