This is a very nice B&B for adults located just outside Friday Harbor, not really walking distance from the ferry. Greg & Naoni are very friendly hosts whom know their business and the area very well. Greg does a nice job with the breakfasts.

What we liked best was the ease of our stay. Our late check in was no problem. Our room was satisfactory and the view was toward the harbor. We slept well through our visit and enjoyed breakfast on the deck that had a great view. The parking was plentiful and the grounds pleasant. The sitting areas were spacious and at... More

We stayed at four hotels on our recent vacation, and this one was our favorite. It is within 5 minutes of the downtown shopping area, restaurants, etc, and far enough away to be nice and quiet. Beautiful grounds with nice views of the harbor from the second story deck and our room. Wonderful homemade breakfast. The owners are very nice,... More

Naoni was very charming and helpful, Greg was blunt, abrupt, and sometimes rude. I thought the B&B was overpriced considering the location was a substantial 15 to 20 minute uphill walk from the town center and taxi's on the island are $8.00 a ride. -Rooms are lacking some basics, beds are old, and pillows were way past there useful life.... We were thrilled to be able to visit Friday Harbor again and spend time at Hillside House. Greg and Naoni are friendly and gracious hosts. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the beds are very comfortable. The rooms are spotless and quite spacious. Greg makes delicious and varied items for breakfasts and there are always snacks and drinks available. It... More

We stayed here two nights, the room was fantastic. We were in the Vantana room, the bed was very comfortable, the room was outstanding and it has a private access to the parking area. Greg and Naoni were excellent hosts and very friendly. Greg makes a very good breakfast and made great suggestions of places to see on the Island.... More

We stayed at the Eagle's nest for our anniversary. The Eagle's nest is worth the extra bucks, it has a wet bar with hot/cold water, a massive hot tub, a massive, comfy kind bed, a small TV, a music system and tons of privacy! The views are very good too, and you can't hear anybody except at breakfast time. Tons... More

My husband, 17 yo daughter and I just finished spending two nights at this property. The property is a 1960/1970 converted split level, but, the owners have made the property work. Each bedroom has it's own theme, nice beds/bedding and some bedrooms even have their own private baths. The breakfast provided by Greg was hot, plentiful, and well done. Greg... More

I made a reservation approximately 2 to 3 months prior to the planned date of arrival; I booked a room for three nights. As I was coming from San Diego, it takes some planning to make the trip. Approximately 7 days prior to my scheduled arrival date, a family emergency occurred and we were forced to cancel the vacation. I... More

Me and my fiance spent 3 days at the bed and breakfast. Greg and Naoni are great hosts. Not only were the rooms clean and breakfasts delicious, but we were given expert advice on things to do on the island and places to eat lunch and dinner. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting the island.
