The place is quaint. It's not the cleanest place I've ever been to. Meeting new people for breakfast from other parts of the world was the highlight. Breakfast was not spectacular, but came with the stay. Biggest issue: I showed up with my partner, and "plans changed" all of a sudden. We no longer had the room we booked, but... More

We are sorry that you felt uncomfortable during your stay with us. We strive to make everyone as comfortable and welcomed as possible. The day you arrived we needed to move whoever was scheduled in our Sunflower room to accommodate some other guests coming for the next few days, and our Marilee Cottage was the only room available for those... We stayed in the quaint Robin's Nest room for three nights in May, 2015. Host Jennifer is warm, welcoming, and kind. Her breakfasts are spectacular and the room was clean, comfortable, and appointed with delightful lavender products produced locally. We can't thank Jennifer enough for a wonderful stay and look forward to our next visit!

We arrived in Friday Harbor to celebrate our son's wedding in April of 2015. My husband & I stayed in the Honeymoon Cottage for 8 nights at Argyle House B & B with hosts Jennifer & Art. We had exceptional breakfasts for 8 mornings, enough to get us through to late afternoon for a light snack before dinner. Our cottage... More

We had a very nice stay at this B and B this past summer. The innkeeper graciously helped us with our bikes (as we had ridden over from Anacortes on bikes) and made us feel welcome. Breakfast in the AM was wonderful…as was the conversation with the other guests. Our room was very nice, private, and comfortable. Located a short... More

The location was out of the crowded tourist area but easy and pleasant walks into the town center. The front porch was a great place to hang out. The landscaping was very inviting. The breakfast was outstanding every day and we met some very interesting people who lingered over coffee. The rear at the rear of the property was very... More

Argyle House is such a cute place with very nice innkeepers. Breakfast was spectacular all 3 mornings we were there. It is in a great location--easy walk to Friday Harbor restaurants and shops. The innkeepers were knowledgeable about local attractions.

The positive, the beds were very comfortable, and the room was very clean. We were going o arriving late and contacted them twice to notify them, as they ask, first did not look at email, then phone message was not passed on. The food was ok, coffee good though. Big down side, the dog somewhat charged my daughter, then arriving... More

We are profoundly sorry for our dog Lady's "performance" when our guests were here. We do advertise our B&B as a dog-friendly place, and many guests have enjoyed interacting with Lady. However, she has taken to some unpleasant habits in the past couple of weeks. We cleaned up the mess as soon as we were aware of it, and are... More

Found this place at the last minute… owner was very friendly and accommodating. Very nice room and wonderful breakfast in the morning. Great location too - near enough to walk to any place in Friday Harbor.

We really enjoyed staying at the Argyle House B&B. We came over on the ferry without a car and the innkeepers were nice enough to let us leave our stuff there before check-in and even use the refrigerator. When we came back after dinner we had a nice time in in hot tub. The breakfast was very good! We were... More

The grounds are beautiful and include an urban farm, the rooms are thoughtfully provisioned with magazines, but beware the steep stairs to the upstairs rooms. Delicious breakfast with gluten-free options, and a very congenial and funny host. Will come again.
