I was highly skeptical of staying at a bed and breakfast; it was my husband's idea. We stayed there and I was happy that we did. The owner, Art, upgraded us to The Honeymoon Cottage and we were thrilled. We had our own private residence away from it all and I loved the peace and quiet that it gave us.... More

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay in the off-season. Nice quiet, clean room with just a short walk to town. Friendly hosts who offered history of the area along with suggested sites to see. Very good breakfast including their own grown fruit.

What i liked: Clean. and excellent lavender body care products.. the rest: a) it is not at all in nature, but in town surrounded by other houses on a fairly busy st. b)there was noise at night from a neighboring house c) we could hear the hot tub pump very loudly in the cottage c) too much light streaming into... We believe the person writing this review was actually a last-minute guest of the people who actually booked their room, and for whom we made a last-minute accommodation. This may be explain why the guest was so disappointed with the fact that our B&B is in town, rather than in nature. We’d suggest that if that’s what this person wanted,... More

Our family had 2 upstairs rooms, both were very comfortable. Owners, Jennifer and Art are very pleasant and serve a great breakfast. My granddaughter was talking about how much she liked crepes and they were made for us the next morning! Had a wonderful stay at Argyle Housemate!

We stayed at Argyle House as part of a family group of ten - including teens and young adults - who were in Friday Harbor for a week. It is well managed and charming with 3 rooms upstairs and 2 detached cottages. Breakfast was delicious and the garden setting is lovely. Argyle House is in easy walking distance to restaurants,... First time for both my wife and I going to a bed and breakfast so my review is not one of a B/B expert. Was shown around by Art, very pretty garden and yard. Shown to the room and was pointed out some lights by the mirror weren't working (issue for wife when getting ready for evening in low light)... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Jennifer and Art (robin's nest room). We had plenty of space in our room and private bathroom. Art and Jennifer were very welcoming and were always available if we had any questions. Breakfasts were excellent-lots of fresh fruits and delicious eggs and muffins. We would recommend Argyle House to everyone.

They decided to let other people stay in the room we booked (without letting us know) so instead of a queen and twin bed we had a queen and an uncomfortable pull out sofabed. Also the lights over the bathroom sink were not working. Lastly I had been looking forward to the jacuzzi but it needed to be cleaned and... More

The place is quaint. It's not the cleanest place I've ever been to. Meeting new people for breakfast from other parts of the world was the highlight. Breakfast was not spectacular, but came with the stay. Biggest issue: I showed up with my partner, and "plans changed" all of a sudden. We no longer had the room we booked, but... More

We are sorry that you felt uncomfortable during your stay with us. We strive to make everyone as comfortable and welcomed as possible. The day you arrived we needed to move whoever was scheduled in our Sunflower room to accommodate some other guests coming for the next few days, and our Marilee Cottage was the only room available for those... We stayed in the quaint Robin's Nest room for three nights in May, 2015. Host Jennifer is warm, welcoming, and kind. Her breakfasts are spectacular and the room was clean, comfortable, and appointed with delightful lavender products produced locally. We can't thank Jennifer enough for a wonderful stay and look forward to our next visit!
