An absolutely beautiful, quiet harbor with views to die for. Easy access to kayaking in the calm waters. Other tours such as whale watching available. Or, sit on your patio or the edge of the dock and watch the wildlife and sunset. Stop at the market before coming as food at the resort is very limited. Drive to the Lime... More

We enjoyed our two night stay at Snug Harbor, immensely. Beautiful & peaceful harbor resort. The resort is located across the island and the drive was lovely, serene. The property is very clean and well managed. Had a wonderful time. I believe more than half the cabins were taken and still everyone was kind & considerate in regards to noise... More

This place is amazing. Love the newly redone cabins, with their huge windows looking onto the bay. Love the kitchens where you can "stay put" with a snack or meal in. Love the little gift shop and coffee shop. Love the grassy lawn, where kids can run around and meet other playmates. I recommend it wholeheartedly. The one thing I... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin with our two children, ages 16 and 15. The cabin was clean, well equipped and had a gorgeous view. We paddle boarded in the bay and saw a seal, crabs and jelly fish. We loved the seclusion and the laid back feel of the resort. We bbq'ed on our deck one night, but... More

Absolutely fabulous. Beautiful, quiet, excellent accommodations and service. Maya Legacy Whale Watching is a must out of Snug with reservations. Snug staff was wonderful! It would be nice to have a restaurant but since it doesn't, hit a grocery store on your way. Cannot wait to go back...gorgeous resort.

We arrived to Snug Harbor Resort and Marina later in the afternoon, greeted by a very friendly front desk clerk who speedily checked us in and offered advice for area activities. We proceeded to the cabin that was so incredibly nice and well stocked for necessary amenities. We really enjoyed the furnishings, especially the very comfortable sitting room with fireplace,... Snug Harbor is a Very quite little bay about 6 miles northwest of the ferry landing at Friday Harbor. The cabins have a great WOW factor when you walk in. You got great views of the Harbor through many windows but in the morning you got tons of sun light coming through in spite of the fact the lower windows... More

Very clean cozy and serene. The cabins are very spacious and comfortable. At first glance it seems a little remote but in fact it is a quick trip to either Roche Harbor or Friday Harbor. Only downside is there is no restaurant or cafe on site. The store carries some provisions to allow you to prepare simple meals. Staff is... More

This is a lovely facility. Our one bedroom was spacious, very clean, and featured a balcony. The coffee shop had limited hours and was overpriced. This was a problem, as the facility is isolated. Several miles to grocery stores or restaurants. Once we were used to it, it was manageable, but not what we were prepared for. I would recommend... More

Snug Harbor Resort is truly the best kept secret on San Juan Island. Although if it keeps getting these rave reviews it won't be for long. The resort has gone through a major overhaul and the cabins are beautiful and charming. They offer paddle boards and kayak's for free to their guests, free wi-fi for people who cannot live without...
