This is a very nice little hotel. We stayed in the San Juan suite on the third floor and enjoyed our little balcony over looking the harbor ( even with the transformer in the way). Everything here was excellent. From the staff to the freshly baked scones in the morning and the baked cookies in the afternoon to the complimentary bikes, the Birdrock offered everything we were looking for. This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was quiet and relaxing. The staff provides good service also and cookies in the afternoon. The rooms were furnished well. Enjoyed the breakfast and relaxing on the porch upstairs. more

I should have known there would be trouble when the hotel thoughtfully provided earplugs next to the bed the first night. The bar down the street kept me up and the earplugs only partially helped. We had an unusual request... 3 adults in one room. This was not a problem. An extra bed was quickley added. The room was clean with all the necessities; plus, microwave & frig. Excellent experience. 1st class hotel. 1st class service. Excellent location right by the harbor, restaurants, shops etc. Parking very easy. Very reasonable pricing for quality of room, location and services provided.
