We were fooled by the photos and the write up. No, the manager said, they don't have any shuttles working. Haven't had for over two years. No, we aren't taking the Travel Lodge sign down even though we are now a titled Siesta Inn and Suites. Now about the "SUITES". Yes there is a kitchen. No, there aren't any things... more

This is probably the worst hotel where I ever stayed. First, the good: it did have wireless internet, as advertised. Now, the bad: reaching San Antonio, I called the front desk to ask for directions coming from one of the main highways in the city. The lady at the front desk didn't know how to give directions to the hotel,... more

To start off , we booked online for two "suites"--when we were checking in, they gave us two room #s, but we were told that they weren't ready. We had to go find something to do for two hours. When we came back, we were given two other room #s. Then they decided that they would not be close together,... more

After we checked out of The Travelodge our credit card was charge again. The reasoning on their side was that "they made a mistake in the billing." We had paid the amount that was quoted to us, but the lodge found it convenient to correct their mistake by charging our credit card again. Getting this matter taken care of through... more

We stayed at this hotel for two nights which were part of a three day package from a tour company. It was dirty, the bathtub had a scummy ring, the faucets hadn't been wiped or cleaned in days. The bed linen smelled smoky (non-smoking room) and the mattress creaked with every movement. Cockroaches and cigarette ashes were behind the sofa.... more

My husband and I had one weekend to come to San Antonio and find a place to live before we moved to San Antonio 2 weeks later. We booked a room for our weekend stay in the travelodge, because it was cheap, and we were new college graduates who didn't have mcuh money. Our flight was delayed, and we didn't... more

We booked this hotel for a three nights stay duing a family trip to Fiesta Texas. After we first got to the room, it took about 4 hours for the bedroom to cool with the door opened as the only AC unit was outside in the living room. The room smelled bad and the carpet was filthy. The beds in... more

We were looking for a hotel near Sea World for our family of 6 including 4 kids and decided to give the Travelodge a try. We booked three suites to give ourselves plenty of room to spread out. I used the 800 number to book the rooms. When we showed up the hotel confirmed the reservations, but appeared to have... more

To whomever is reading this, beware of the BED BUGS. We came down from Houston for a wedding. Rented the room just to lay our weary heads after a long day. We were there about 12 hrs., from check in to check out. I woke up the next morning with red bites all over my body. They are trying to... more

I urge people to never stay at this hotel. My family and I came back from a day out sightseeing, and my key wouldn't work. We didn't think anything of it at the time. The room had been cleaned, and we just relaxed for the evening. The next morning my husband was watching our 11month old son while I was... more
