Stayed during Thanksgiving, to see the Riverwalk and Alamo. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Many of the sites are within walking distance. Couldn't ask for anything more. more

Started out badly for us here. The first room they brought us to had big stains on the carpet and looked unsanitary. Complimentary Coffee in AM at 1st floor elevator. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean but dated. Very handy location, easy walk to Alamo and Riverwalk. The Menger's reputation says it all. However, if you don't know about the Menger, it's been around for a very long time. It is adjacent to the Alamo. All of the rooms are unique.
