The room was clean and found the staff friendly and helpful. We felt the room was a good value and would diffidently stay here again. The only thing we would like to see added is a continental breakfast like many others offer for around the same price. They have a restaurant with a breakfast bar for $8 each which looked... More

Very noisy and inefficient HVAC system made sleeping and staying uncomfortable. Overall, hotel equipment and furnishing were outdated and in need of renovation. Ended up turning off HVAC to give some semblance of quiet.

I'm sorry you found my hotel unacceptable. This is not the type of service we try to provide to our guests. We could have sent someone to check the AC system while you were here, but you are right the system a d the hotel is older and is most certainly louder than home. We are in the process of... More

The Doubletree at the San Antonio airport is an OK hotel, not great but not horrible. It is clean and well appointed. The doors are very small, the showers do a great job of washing your navel. When the person in the room above me turned on their water the noise it made woke me up. For one night it... More

Although the overall service was good, the housekeeping could have been better. No unsanitary conditions, but would have like my room to have been better attended. However my concerns were address in a timely manner.

I picked this hotel just because it was off the I10 - easy off & on. And, the price was OK. The Doubletree is an older, Spanish looking building. The rooms are old, but sort of a quaint look. As this was basically just an over night stay, we did not have the breakfast.

Loved this hotel. We had a room overlooking the courtyard. It's a great place to sit and relax or enjoy the pool/hottub. Warm cookies are provided at checkin and upon request. The room was clean. Service was good. Airport shuttle was timely and convenient.

We were in town for a family gathering and everyone stayed at this hotel. While it would not have been my choice of places to stay in San Antonio, and I'd never choose to stay there. It was pleasant enough. The courtyard and pool area was lovely. The staff was helpful and friendly. Parking was easy. There was a microwave... More

I appreciate your honesty. A rare trait these days. It seems you enjoyed your stay with your family despite your original misgivings. The hotel started out as the La Mansion de Norte many years before becoming a part of the DoubleTree family. Never considered a motel. Its older architecture is what many find attractive. A little old fashioned, not for... More

I was originally scheduled to be at the hotel for three weeks, but I only stayed five days. Being a Diamond member at Hilton hotels I have come to expect a lot from them. This hotel is great for a quick couple of nights stays, but that is all. The room was spacey and I loved the brick well. The... More

Please accept my apologies regarding your comments on are breakfast buffet. It is very disappointing to hear you found it to be of such poor quality. I glad you found Room Service more appealing. My husband and I spent two days at the hotel and were very satisfied. We had a Junior Suite which had plenty of space and comfort. Room service was speedy and the food was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the restaurant breakfast buffet. We recommend the hotel with five stars.

This is a nice hotel that feels very welcoming and relaxing. Staff is very friendly, welcoming, and happy. You get complimentary hot chocolate chip cookied, yummmm!
