2 Couples had the room upstairs in the carriage house. It was perfect! 2 Bedrooms, each with a bath, and a shared living room, perfect for 2 couples or families. The breakfast (across the street) was excellent. We were 1 block from the Riverwalk, in the historical area of San Antonio. The hostess was very helpful, and accommodated special food... More

We stayed 1 night in San Antonio at The Oge House. It was lovely. The house is grand and especially at night when it is lit up. We arrived late and there was direction to entering the property left for us. We loved the entry of the home with its traditional décor. Our room was filled with a beautiful antique... More

My husband and I spent five nights in The Oge House during a recent cold spell and ice storm and were completely satisfied with this comfortable and cozy inn. I agonized over our selection -- Jackson House or Oge House, and which room in each was best? This was our first trip to San Antonio and I wanted it to... More

When we arrived Megan greeted us. She was very helpful with directions and ideas of places to eat etc. She was always available for questions and was a great host. The location is wonderful- on the river and a short-10 minute walk to the heart of the riverwalk area. And in a historic neighborhood. We took a walk and found... More

We expected for the price we paid (over $300 per night) a comfortable room, delicious breakfast, and a warm welcome, but we got none of those. The climate control did not seem to work in our room, and it was made worse by apparent polyester sheets. The room, however, was very pretty, and the sitout wonderful....Breakfast didn't taste very good... More

What wonderful hosts! Staff and owner are super helpful and friendly, but respectful of privacy. After a night out in the trendy but friendly neighborhood restaurant/bar area, we arrived back at the house to find fresh chocolate chip cookies and some sherry in the common area. We opted to stay at the carriage house, across from Oge, which has a... More

We had a very enjoyable five night stay at the Oge House. We arrived late but the innkeeper had provided instructions for entrance and the key location. The breakfast was very tasty as well as nicely presented. The Inn location is excellent with a short (10 minute) walk to the attractions on the River Walk. Ample free parking was provided.... More

Lovely B and B on the quiet part of the Riverwalk in the beautiful old King William neighborhood. The house backs up to the river, and it's maybe a 10 minute walk down the river to all the shops and restaurants. This is great because it's quiet at the hotel yet close to the action. We loved taking a morning... More

We stayed here in 2006 and enjoyed the property. Now in 2013 we found the Oge' House as enjoyable as it was 7 years ago. The food was excellent; the rooms nicely appointed for a turn of the century property. The location is very convenient to the Riverfront, downtown San Antonio, etc. You can't go wrong with a stay at... More

Oge House was a perfect respite from staying in a hotel. I loved the room with the king size four poster bed! This was better than a hotel, regardless of how many stars. I felt I was in the home of a dowager aunt who is just a little bit eccentric. How much fun is that? It is wonderful!
