Stayed here four nights. Pluses are; location, comfortable beds, and the view was great. Minuses are; our room was noisy with whooshing and clanging noises all the time (was it the elevators?), and the fact that they will nickle and dime you for everything. The room service was extremely expensive. Five bucks for two pieces of toast, plus a 22%... More

Thank you for taking the time to rate our hotel. The hotel is located right in the middle of the action on the Riverwalk, convenient to most everything you want to do while staying in San Antonio. Because of that, sometimes the area gets very busy with families and since we are conveniently located to the convention center, convention attendees... More

We stayed with our teenage son for a long weekend. The pros: LOCATION! You are right on the Riverwalk which means you are within walking distance of great people watching, food, drinks, etc. The conceirge lounge for Elite members was very nice and very comfortable. Prompt valet service. Short walk to the Alamo. The rooms were very clean. The cons:... More

A co-worker and I were there for a conference. After a VERY rocky start on this trip, we were greeted with a smile and felt welcome in the hotel from the moment we walked in the door. The rooms are average size but a very comfy bed, large bathroom, and a wonderful view of the city. My only complaint is... More

We had a reservation with employee discount made way ahead of time. The reservation was approved for that hotel and for that price $59.00 a night for 4 nights, So it ws booked and accepted as the friend and family rate $59.00 otherwise it would've been more,, wich when we got there the front desk was about to check us... The hotel was nice enough. Our room was clean and in good condition. Housekeeping did a good job. The bar, although easily crowded, had great help and the drinks were well made. The Starbucks had its usual good coffee and goodies. WHY am I complaining? Because it cost $16 PER DAY to use our computer in our room. We could... More

I live in Houston and we wanted to take a short trip for Valentines Day Weekend. Large Conference Hotel, very nice property, great location, clean, friendly staff. Fast Check in. Hooked onto the Riverwalk and Mall, Can't ask for a better location, I would certainly stay again.

As a Platinum plus elite this has to be one of the most disappointing Marriott experiences I have ever had. From top to bottom the hotel exudes a lack of customer service and any culture of guest satisfaction. From the front desk who would not even consider a room preference or upgrade and could care less of your elite status... More

Traveled to San Antonio on business and ended up staying for 4 nights at this facility. The lobby and the eating areas are OK. Lounge needs more room. The hotel room itself was facing west and overlooking the Riverwalk. Nice balcony to have a late afternoon drink and watch the sunset. Now for the room itself. Lots of room BUT,... More

We stayed here for a cheer competition. It was a good location with easy access to the Riverwalk. The rooms were nice a little small though. The suites are amazing and definitely the way to go! They are huge! The room service took a long time though. The bar area was nice and good was good. The separate elevators for... More

I attended our industry's annual meeting in March 2014. I found the facility to be very well maintained, comfortable rooms, friendly service, and conveniently located just a few blocks from the river walk.
