Overall this is a wonderful and comfortable motel. I would probably even stay there again if I was in the area. Except I had one problem that ruined the whole stay: The was no hot water in the morning. Which means that my guest and I were forced to take cold showers. Not the most pleasant thing. And when I... more

Making the reservation: I was told $79 A night for the family room. I booked it, and called back to add a night and was told that particular night would be $129. Ok, so no problem. When I call back to confirm the reservation I am told it was canceled. The property itself had the reservation but the 800 number... more

This property has recently been remodeled and the rooms are clean and bright. We chose this hotel because it is a good value for a hotel close to Lackland AFB. The manager and his staff are the most accommodating people I have encountered in a long time. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The location on I-35 and Military Road does... more

The hotel is clean and the rooms are nice, no-frills rooms. Location is convenient to downtown (about 10 minutes via I-35). There is a mediocre mall across I-35 from the hotel and an HEB (grocery store) very nearby. Aside from fast food, though, there are no decent restaurants in the immediate area. Parking is safe and monitored by a security... more

My mother and I visited this hotel on October 2007. This hotel is in need of a complete overhaul. The TV was probably from the 1,980's with no remote. When I called the front desk to ask for a remote they told me they could not help me because the remotes were all locked in the maintenance closet. The sink... more

The rooms were not luxurious, or extravagent, but for the price I paid.... I didn't expect them to be. I will say that the rooms were very clean. And that the staff, (Especially Management) Were very polite and curtious. I was greeted everymorning by name when I wen't to the lobby for my breakfast waffel, which I thought was very... more

I actually moved from another La Quinta to stay here because it was only a few blocks from where I am working. It is of a similar age and run-down appearance. Okay, so it isn't a total dive, but it's much older than I've experienced La Quita's to be in other states- and it's not intensively updated. I will say... more

Visiting Lackland from the UK. Minimum Breakfast facilities - coffee was terrible. Friday and Saturday evenings VERY NOISY, children running up and down veranda's shouting/screaming until after midnight, plus adults standing outside rooms shouting - no consideration for other guests. There appeared to be a cinema and car park facing the room we were in, this became rather busy late... more

The south park location of La Quinta is the best I have ever seen, such an intelligent staff. No less than the best in Customer Service. I particularly enjoy the continental breakfast that they offer and quick access to the freeway in to the downtown area. I would highly recommend to anyone! more
