Rustic decor. A fire in the fireplace in lobby would have been nice as it is cool at night. Had to walk a long distance from where we parked. Nice bellman . Room decor is ok a little plain. Baby crying next door at 5 am and again at 7 was a shame but not hotels fault. Not a romantic... More

The Hiil Country resort is HUGE and really, that is the only real drawback. Be prepared to walk...a LOT. My husband and I recently visited for a work related event. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and serene. While not real impressed with the room, it is nice, but nothing special. When we arrived and went to open the door... More

a group of friends (Girls only) just spent 4 days here and we had a great time. The spa day was wonderful. The hotel makes these amazing pecan butter cookies with a touch of bourbon in them. They are too good. look for them in hospitality areas.

Sort of on a whim, two friends and I stayed two nights at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort last week. We wanted to be closer to downtown than other places we'd stayed (more toward Spring Branch), and since we were on spring break, we thought it would be okay to splurge a little. The resort is gorgeous. I'd never stayed... More

We only spent two nights over spring break but we will be going back this summer! It is so close to Sea World so you have that if you want to leave the hotel but it was hard to get my kids to want to leave. It had activities for everyone. Movies on the lawn at night, lazy river with... More

We stayed whilst on a relocation fact finding trip in November. It was quiet and peaceful and so friendly. The room was perfect and the bar was interesting. We will booking again for the end of April when my husband plans to take advantage of the golf club.

This hotel has an upscale western theme decor. It is elegant. You are greeted by nearly every staff member with a smile, excluding a lady of Asian decent that was working the pool area and server. Maybe she was a manger feeling in for someone, because she had on long pants and a shirt. The front desk staff was very,... More

My wife and I just had the opportunity to spend four nights at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort for a conference. The property itself is a beautiful piece of San Antonio hill country about 15 miles outside of the city. The hotel lobby is quite grand and very "Texas lodge-like" in style and decor. The conference center is very... More

The Hyatt is a fantastic resort/hotel. We only stayed one night, but it's designed to be there a couple of days at least, to take advantage of the golf, pool, family activities, cookouts, etc. Rooms are great, food was very good. Nice pools with a lazy river. My wife had a great massage at the spa. The only slight drawback,... More

Hands down the best golf and overall service in San Antonio. Skip the overhyped and rude attitudes at La Cantera. They should kick Troon out and let another company run that course The staff is incredible. The atmosphere is a true relaxing vacation. Can't say enough good things about the Hyatt. I will never go back to La Cantera after... More
