This hotel is off the beating path with nothing really close to it except for the freeway. The breakfast was budget and not very good. Also, they have SeaWorld stuff all over, but I don't think SeaWorld is even walking distance. more

Stayed here one night on business. This is an older Hampton - I have stayed here a few times before over the years. It is okay, the rooms are a little smaller than the newer Hamptons, but everything was clean and worked well. The Internet is hardwired, but works fine. After making reservations at another hotel at a considerably higher room rate, we were directed to the Hampton Inn by a recommendation from a helpful person at the Lackland booking office. Yes it was 3 miles farther, but the rate was 40% less and we weren't planning on staying in the room all that much anyway. Good choice to switch.... more
