Everything was great, from the friendly greeting upon entrance of the lobby. We arrived around the time of "happy hour" and there were beverages ready for us to enjoy after the trip. The Breakfast was amazing and I could have asked for more! The rooms were very enjoyable and so comfortable. Loved the character of the entire Inn. I would... More

We had booked orginally for 3 nites and had planned to go on to corpus for the rest of our vacation, but ended up having a such a wonderful time we stayed the whole week and got to see all the sites of San Antonio. They are running a stimlus price of $79 Sunday - Thur and only $99 on... More

We visited San Antonio during their FIESTA celebrations and stayed at the Victorian Lady. The staff was very friendly and really enjoyed their happy hour. After a long day in the city, we came back and relaxed in the pool, before heading out to dinner. That night we slept very comfortly. The next morning we woke up to a hot... More

This is a long saga so please bear with me. We booked a room for two nights at the Victorian Lady Inn for a much needed stress-free long weekend get-away. The first glimmer of a problem occurred when my husband had a unexpected, but brief stay in the hospital three days prior to our trip. I contacted the Inn to... More

I booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1. Friendly reception. Room okay with bath and shower in bedroom behind screen. No coffee making in room, no iron. Nobody around from about 8pm to 8am. I rise at 5.30 am but with no coffee I was parched. Crept out to see if there was any around but none. Wireless internet... More

First, the good points: The inn is in a truly beautiful late-nineteenth-century mansion filled with fine pictures and antiques. The owners are very friendly and offered suggestions on where to visit. Gloria, the lady who checked us in, was sweet. The breakfasts provided were wonderful! Hot items like individual souffles and casseroles are made from scratch, and all the usual... More

This place was a disaster, from the ill-kept grounds to the peeling paint to smell of mildew that greets you at the door. I've never written a negative review before but felt I must warn future unsuspecting travelers: there were rats scratching and crawling in the ceiling after the lights went out. It was the worst night I have ever... More

Nice Victorian style house. Needs a little work but over all a nice house. The area is good and you feel safe. The breakfast is fablous. You have a hot selection that is freshly made, as well as breads and cereals, and juice, coffee, and milk. Nice cozy atmosphere. Not far from the riverwalk, a bit far to walk unless... More

My husband took me to San Antonio for my birthday and he found this B&B online. The place was cozy and quaint, and my husband and I enjoyed our stay. The NEW Owners and the Housekeeper were very friendly, helpful and very enjoyable to chat with. The decor and rooms were nice and very enjoyable to tour. (Gloria gave us... More

We had a modestly enjoyable stay our first time around at this B&B a little over a year ago. My husband and I decided to stay there again while we stayed in San Antonio for Final 4. We were a bit skeptical since it was under new management, but we had a much more pleasant experience our second go round.... More
