*note- we had stayed in April, 2013 but I cannot find that date on TA. We had a small family wedding and rented out 6 rooms- most in the main house, and the upstairs room in the carriage house. We originally made a reservation for one night only, because we were not sure if everyone would be comfortable at a... More

I like the laid back atmosphere at Ocasey's. The rooms are quaint and clean. There are space heaters if it gets cold, and it did and the heaters were adequate. The staff is friendly and served a decent breakfast on the sideboard for self service, which I liked. I wish the coffee had been ready by at least eight instead... More

I spent three nights in the Galway Room in late 2014. A cold snap came through San Antonio (highs in the 40s) and the space heater in the room was not up to the task of warming things up. Breakfast is supposed to be served from 8:30-10:00, but do not count on it--one day it was served after 9:00, with... More

The location is pleasant and there are a few restaurants nearby. The house has character and our rooms, although small, were absolutely fine for the 2 nights we stayed (Kilkenny Suite). We were there over a weekend so breakfast was fine but not cooked to order - the hot dishes were left on a hotplate. However, the one thing, which... More

I arrived in San Antonio planning to drop off my things and then hit the road to see the city. But I loved this place so much, I chose to hang out there and read a book from the porch swing instead. I got a great recommendation from the innkeeper for a place to eat within walking distance and walked... More

On a positive note, O'Casey's is a lovely turn of the 20th century home, in a quiet neighborhood, approximately 3 miles from The Riverwalk and reasonably priced. However, the negatives outweigh the positives. The main reasons I choose to stay in Bed and Breakfasts are for the hospitality, breakfasts and a clean room which reflects the overall style of the... O'Casey's Bed and Breakfast is set in a charming home near downtown San Antonio. The rooms are all unique and comfortable. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was delicious. This was the first time our children have stayed in a B&B and they throughly enjoyed the experience. The home is within easy walking distance of a variety of restaurants... More

This B&B is close to downtown San Antonio in the Monte Vista historic district. The neighborhood is beautiful. The staff at the b&b was very helpful and friendly. Our room was the Kilkenny Suite which is roomy and has a door to the upstairs porch. The bathroom has only space for one person at a time but a nice storage... More

We stayed here four nights for our wedding anniversary trip. It's on a quiet street considering how close it is to downtown. The room was lovely and clean. The hostess and the staff were very communicative prior to our arrival, and let us know exactly what we needed to get settled in. Other than that, the staff stays out of... More

We had 21 people in our party. We stayed august 1st to august 3rd and rented four rooms. They were very comfortable and very affordable. The bnb is so peaceful. The breakfast is huge and plentiful. They have a grill we used for dinner. All in all the bnb was amazing. My husband and I are certainly going back. All... More
