We recently stayed here over Valentines day and it was a disappointment. What we love BNB for their warm welcome and feeling you staying at someones home not a hotel. The home is nice but not kept in traditional time period decor. Oddly enough they still allow smoking on the veranda. We never felt welcomed by the inn keeper, never... More

Nestled among the high rise hotels of San Antonio sits a beautiful blue country inn with 2 small cottages. Although It DOES sit on the riverwalk, it is the quiet, non touristy south end of the river near the historic King William neighborhood. This is a plus if you want quiet, bike riding or even kayaking. Or it is a... More

My wife and I stayed at the Inn on the Riverwalk for Valentine's weekend and it was beyond all expectations! The Inn is gorgeous, it's location on the Riverwalk is prefect for walking to EVERYTHING, and the food was mind blowingly good! The owner, Roland wanted nothing more than to chat and share the Inn's storied history. He was a... More

Sorry that this review is so late in coming. My husband and I were guests last October. We reserved the "honeymoon suite". When I walked into the suite, I felt like I was walking into Grandma's attic. Musty smelling, old old furninishings. The bathroom was icky to say the least. The huge tub/shower was a fete in itself to get... More

We stayed here for our sons wedding. The staff was super friendly. The new owner, Roland, was super friendly and came out to talk to us everyday. He has great plans for the older Bed and Breakfast. It could use some repairs here and there. The breakfast was awesome! The best French toast ever. We loved the location because it... More

Location was great. Away from all the hustle and bustle of the hotels and restaurants but defiantly close enough to walk to. We stayed in the suite on the third floor of the main house. The view of the river from the balcony was very nice. It is an old home so some character was expected. However, it is in... More

Our daughter got us a couple nights here with a groupon deal. It was nice. There are a couple seperate houses. So definitely would make a huge difference which room you choose and your desires. We stayed in and liked the smaller cottage house, instead of the large 'bed & breakfast' house. The very best thing to us was the... More

We stayed in cottage 24 for our 3rd anniversary on 11/1/14. The room was beautiful and well kept. The riverwalk was about 10 minutes away. Everything was in walking distance. There was a complimentary breakfast everyday that included muffins, pastries, bagels, tea, juice, and coffee. Lots to choose from! All the staff that we came in contact with were very... More

My husband and I stayed here this week for our honeymoon. When I made the reservations months ago, I had booked a cottage room; however, when I called to confirm my reservation 2 weeks prior to our arrival, I mentioned that it was our honeymoon, and the kind people at the inn gave us a free upgrade to the honeymoon... We stayed in the main house. Room was clean and quiet. We had a shared porch on second floor. The breakfast was similar to what we get at the Holiday Inn or Days Inn, plenty to eat though. My only complaint is that there is NO coffee made until after 8:00. All Bed and Breakfasts we have stayed at have... More
