The Yellow Rose is where I like to stay when I'm in San Antonio. It is quiet, the rooms are luxurious, and I love the idea of having breakfast in my room rather than sharing breakfast at a table with a roomful of strangers. It's not that I don't enjoy the company of others, but in the mornings, I am... more

but so close to all the action and history of San Antonio. My daughter and I spent two quiet evenings in the Yellow Rose. As a participant in the Rock and Roll Half Marathon she was within walking distance of the finishline as well as the shuttle bus to the start line. Several good restaurants within walking distance (LOVED Rosarro's).... more

My room provided me a comfortable bed and clean room with a huge bathroom, which I enjoyed taking a bath everyday! I also stayed during the first Friday, which all excitements are happening within three to ten minute walking distance from the house. I recommend it to a business traveler as well as tourists. Only ten minute walk from the... more

This B&B is a little gem. The rooms were decorated with a touch of Victorian elegance and were warm and welcoming. The optional full breakfast was served in-room and was delicious! I will definitely be staying here again soon! more

This was our 2nd visit to the Yellow Rose. The first time was great, but this time it was even better. We loved our room, it was large, had plenty of windows and had a very clean bathroom. In fact, my wife and I both noted that it was cleaner than the much more expensive hotels we had stayed at.... more

My mom and I stayed at A Yellow Rose and it was a great experience. Deb and Kit made a point to introduce themselves and made us feel very welcome. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms were spacious and uniquely decorated. We will definitely be back. more

This last trip to SA was under difficult circumstances, for I was there to care for my son, a student at Trinity University, following reconstructive surgery on his shoulder. Deb was absolutely wonderful in terms of making certain that we had everything we needed during our stay in the carriage house. While the carriage house isn't as stunning as the... more

This is our second stay at "A Yellow Rose" and when we return to S.A. next year we will stay there again. We have stayed in the Carriage House both times, which works perfectly for my husband and myself. He is a night bird and I am a morning person. There is a separate sitting area so that each of... more

Of all places to have to go to in the worst heat of the summer.....San Antonio in August. However, my stay at A Yellow Rose B&B was so delightful. The room I stayed in was cool, light, a wonderful bed and a beautiful bathroom with lovely amenities. It was a quiet, very private room even though the B&B is situated... more
