Fantastic service, friendly, welcoming employees, beautiful architecture, historic value, perfect location, parking in-out privileges, free breakfast, free afternoon drinks, free internet, free long distance, roof top pool, indoor pool, clean rooms, and willing to make up to any small thing that is not right. We never heard of the Drury chain before planning this vacation. Now, I wish I could... more

My husband and I chose to stay at this hotel based on the reviews we read on this site, and we were very happy with our choice! The hotel itself is a beautiful building with a neat past and interesting historical details. Our room was great, the bed was very comfortable, and we had a fabulous view. All the staff... more

This hotel had very welcoming employees. The restaurant at the hotel is probably the best we ate at during our 3 day stay on the river walk. Clean, comfortable, good value. We would stay at this hotel again. If you're visiting the Alamo, be sure to stop at the Buckhorn Saloon. What a great lunch with entertainment, and reasonably priced... more

The Drury Plaza has a lot to offer. Nice Rooms, Free Drinks at Happy Hour, Free Hot Breakfast, and a great location on the Riverwalk. They have done a good but not great job of refurbishing the old bank into a hotel facility. We stayed in the new tower that was added in 2006. The problem was the old bank... more

Thank you for choosing Drury Hotels! We appreciate hearing from our guests and thank you for your feedback. We know that access to the San Fernando tower where you stayed is a little tougher, but we have heard from many guests that these rooms are very quiet and peaceful! This tower also has its own indoor pool, whirlpool and observation...

Upon arrival, the parking area was not immediately noticable however it turned out to be very convenient. Registration was a breeze and the folks at the front desk were excellent. We reserved a 2 room suite with 2 queen beds. The drinks/snacks/breakfast were an added convenience. This is where my review goes somewhat south. Our room was in the San... more

I stayed three nights at this hotel to attend a conference with two colleagues and I couldn't have been more satisfied! The three of us split a very reasonable rate of $150-$160 per night. We had a large bed to share and a pull-out sofa that was very comfortable for one. Plus, the room itself was huge by normal standards.... more

From the minute we walked in, we were greeted with smiles! The staff were so super friendly, and Donna at the front desk talked with us during the entire boring part of the check in process. She searched to give us the room with the best view for our money. We were given great reccomendations on where to eat and... more

My parents, husband, children, and I just spent three nights at this wonderful hotel. My mom and dad were on the 17th floor, and we were on the 18th. Both rooms were on corners of the building, so we had lots of windows and fantastic views. When we arrived, the daily "happy hour" was taking place. Friendly servers were making... more

I chose this hotel purely based on the Tripadvisor reviews, and I'm so glad I did! It made our 8th Anniversary Trip perfect. This is one of the best hotel experiences we've had in a long, long time. The lobby and room were beautiful. The staff were always friendly and accomodating, from the front desk to valet parkers to food... more

My partner and I stay in this hotel in June 2008 and it was fantastic. We were in room 1603 which was great - large, closet space, big bed and the bathroom, wow! walk in shower and huge tub! the bathroom was almost as big as the room itself. The roof top pool and jacuzzi's were fantastic and this hotel... more
