Located just behind the Alamo, the Crocket Hotel is wonderfully located for all things downtown San Antonio and the Riverwalk. This Boutique Hotel showcases its history with many old photographs in the lobby; however the décor is more simple and modern. If you in enjoy supporting history and small business but are not into stuffy antiques, shabby chic or other... More

Being interested in and wanting to support the preservation of historic landmarks, we booked this hotel in San Antonio, although there were many other choices at this fairly high price range, within a half-mile radius. Our corner room was large, the bathroom adequate but the furnishings were early Sears catalogue and bore no relation to the historic character of the... More

We recently spent a few nights with our family at the Crockett Hotel. The older historical building was so very nice. The room gave the 4 of us plenty of room. Everything was kept very clean. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast has a small, but nice variety of food. The location is wonderful. We parked(for a fee)... More

historic building, converted from original use into hotel. quiet, which is unusual for a hotel these days, not having to hear every breath from the adjacent rooms, except for the clopping of the horses' hooves with the carriages in front. next to the Alamo, very short walk to Riverwalk, very close--about a 5 minutes on the Riverwalk, from the convention... This is a beautiful hotel. Very clean. I only stayed a long weekend. They do charge for parking but for a short stay there is no need for a car as they are in the midst of everything. The alamo is directly across the street & the Riverwalk is about a block away. For someone that doesn't mind a bit... More

The location is awesome. It's right next door to the Alamo and across the street from the Riverwalk. The charm of the place is nice and it was clean and comfy. However, we would probably not stay here again for a few reasons. The noise coming from the lobby was pretty loud all night long. Also, the breakfast was just... More

An older but recently renovated hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. the room was exactly what I had asked for, a quiet corner with a king size bed, the mattress had to be the best I have ever slept on. the bathroom, albeit modernized was still a tad small .The breakfast buffet was decent, scrambled eggs, and make your... A friend of mine recommended this hotel to me but I'm wondering if we were indeed at the same hotel! There is NOTHING special about this hotel. We typically stay at the chain hotels but figured we'd try a "boutique" hotel. We expected a little more personal staff and facilities that were above and beyond. Herein lies our disappointment. This... More

Thank you for being our guest this summer. We appreciate that you took the time to provide us with some feedback. We strive every day to exceed our guests expectations and feel badly when we fail to measure up. Due to drought restrictions to preserve water resources, we have turned off our water feature at the pool. The feature increases... More

Stayed here for one night. Pulled into the parking area with our friends pickup truck and 26 foot enclosed motorcycle trailer. First valet attendant said we couldn't park in there. I explained that I had talked to the reservation desk when selecting this hotel and told her exactly what we'd be pulling in with. She in turn, talked to a... More

We wanted to stay close to the Riverwalk but try something different from the typical chain hotel. This place fit the bill! We were literally steps from the Alamo and about 2 small blocks to the Riverwalk. The hotel itself was nice. The entry was amazing. It's like they took two buildings and covered them with a roof to make... More
