From the outside, this little inn looks a bit iffy. The minute I walked in, I saw my fears were unfounded. The Riverwalk Vista is a gem! The place has a cozy, old-world feel while maintaining all the comforts of a modern hotel. Pros: - Wonderful staff. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Everyone made us feel like a welcome... Let's get a couple of things out and up front. This is a bed and breakfast inn, not a hotel like Holiday Inn, etc. Once you have that mindset you can really appreciate what it offers. Comfortable rooms, friendly service, good included breakfast, several seating areas that are almost like private living rooms, free glass of wine in the evening... More

Great historical hotel. Close the riverwalk, rivercenter mall and tower of the americas. Nice breakfast and wine in the evening. I feels more like a bed and breakfast then a hotel. Only downside was a club in the basement with loud music, wasnt unbearable but still a minus.

A wonderful visit adjacent to the Riverwalk. This 16-room B&B styled hotel is a converted grocery warehouse from the 19th century. It sits above a McDonald’s and a basement bar with rooms on the second and third floors. There is easy access to the Riverwalk (across the street and downstairs) as well as the Alamo and the Convention Center (a... More

My wife and I had always wanted to visit Texas, and to stay somewhere that would give us a homey and comfy taste of the state. The Riverwalk Vista was perfect for us. This vintage boutique hotel is just across the street from the famed Riverwalk and was fabulous. The perfect size with helpful staff, beautiful rustic rooms, business center,... More

Loved my stay at the Riverwalk Vista and I highly recommend it. I don't do bed and breakfasts...and was nervous about this type of place but it twas great. Room was great, breakfast and wine was great, the common areas were really cool, I highly recommend it. It was extremely noisy as a Dave and Busters was being built 20... More

I've always had a love affair with old hotels. Even to the point of staying in some really rundown properties over the years. Given a choice, I will gravitate to the older hotel properties. This hotel did not disappoint. It has been lovingly restored and is furnished with a pleasant combination of old and new furnishings. The staff was the... More

The most friendliest staff you'll ever meet! Myra (I hope that's how you spell her name) was so nice. We had a little problem navigating downtown so we called the hotel and she guided us to the hotel flawlessly. She even came outside and met us at our car. She made us feel so welcome which made our visit even... More

Very nice place to stay. Conveniently located and Riverwalk accessibility! Innkeepers were very pleasant and accommodating with any of our requests. Love the charm of the entire place. Breakfast was very good, better than continental style. If you are into old historic charm, this is a must stay. Rooms were great and spacious. Bathroom showers were better than most homes.... More

Great location! good room size. loved the huge windows and wooden floors - hostess was nice and helpful. liked the size of the hotel- not too small like a B & B, but not a huge crowded hotel either, just very convenient and efficient. Very close to the Alamo, all the shops and the Riverwalk. Breakfast was decent with nice... More
