I love the location ,staff, view & rooms . Breakfast is included in the rate. The parking stinks. Closest parking is 2 blocks away & $30. You park & then walk with luggage down the street or unload car at hotel then park

Based on great reviews in TripAdvisor, I felt lucky to get a last minute suite at RiverWalk Vista. It's true that the location is great and the price is fair. It's also true that the staff are uniformly pleasant and helpful and that the breakfasts and the 3PM cookies are welcome parts of the day. But there were enough negatives... More

We arrived in San Antonio without a hotel pre booked. We had looked on line but the reviews were so mixed for mid range hotels that we decided to take our chances and check out a couple of hotels before booking a night. We visited our first choice and were so glad that we had not booked on line, for... More

No matter what I write, I simply don't think I'll do full justice to this absolute gem of a property. Intimate, friendly, personal, comfortable...human scaled ...there's simply no reason to choose a sterile chain box when staying in downtown San Antonio when you can stay here for close to the same price, or in many cases, even less. The charm... More

On my 1st visit to San Antonio I had the pleasure of staying at the Riverwalk Vista thanks to comments from TripAdvisor travelers. For 6 nights I was pampered with Egyptian linens, teddy bear, rubber ducky and an outstanding shower. The staff was friendly, offered day trip advise, provided a wonderful breakfast, lemonade & cookies, wine and so much more... More

This hotel is a hidden jewel in San Antonio. This was one of the most pleasant experiences that I have ever had with a hotel. The staff made me feel at home with their friendliness and warmth. The accommodations were perfect; clean and comfortable. The hotel is a beautifully restored building with high ceilings, comfortable beds, helpful staff and the... More

We were delighted with every aspect of this hotel. Our room was beautiful and I loved the high ceiliings, furnishings and the gorgeous bathroom. The Staff were accomodating and very friendly. The whole place had a historic charm about it. There were warm cookies in the afternoon, a glass of wine at 45 and a wonderful breakfast. The location was... More

This hotel is excellent and very warm, from the personal check in to the room by the front desk employees to the rubber ducky in the shower every aspect seemed more like staying at a relative's house rather than a hotel. The price was fair especially considering the inclusion of breakfast which was delicious (must try the apple bread/cake), and... More

My wife and I enjoy hotels like this that have the best of both worlds, classic charm with modern convenience. The Riverwalk Vista is in the perfect location in San Antonio being a 1 minute walk to the river and its great restaurants and a 3 minute walk to the Alamo. It is right in the heart of things. We... My wife and I wanted to take a quick one night trip to San Antonio to celebrate her birthday and the pending arrival of our second child. I took it upon myself to find a quaint hotel and didn't tell her much about it (this hasn't always worked out so well in the past, read my review about Ladera in... More
