Me and a group of friends did a tour from NY to LA in September and stayed in many KOA's along the way, this was the best one we stayed in. We paid $8 each per night and stayed in a cabin, which was like luxury after staying in a tent for 10 nights previous to this. We did our... More

I was a little disappointed in a few things: one, the location. We were smack dab in between the ghetto and a huge industrial area. There were no near by grocery stores, however, downtown was pretty easily accessible. two, the camp store hours. The camp store didn't open until 8am and closed at 7. Because of the statement above (nowhere... More

We had a wonderful time at the San Antonio KOA. The staff was very Friendly and informative and the campground was very well maintained. The bathrooms were something you would see in a persons house, all nice and tiled, very clean, and heated too! The only complaint I had was that when we came there were no other tent campers... More

This KOA campground was well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bus stop to get downtown was right outside the front gate. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. It appeared family friendly but we didn't have our grandkids with us this time.

With the KOA only being 2 hours close to where we live we visit there at least 3 times per year. Always friendly and courteous staff to greet you. Very clean campground from cabins to bathrooms. There is also a bus stop directly across the street to get you downtown. Nice, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend as we are... More

We stayed in a RV trailer for the rodeo. The location is convenient and the grounds are well maintained. They were putting in a new pool while we were there. My grand kids enjoyed the playground, even though it is a little outdated. The restrooms were nice and clean and warm. The trash is emptied constantly. Our space was a... More

We spent 9 days at the KOA last summer. Our original trip was supposed to be six days long while I attended an education conference, but we extended to enjoy a rare early July cool front. The KOA is so convenient, located on the bus line, so you do not have to drive downtown to the River Walk and Alamo... More

Easy access to take the bus to go downtown and visit San Antonio. We had no reservations and all was fine. Front desk staff are welcoming and friendly. We have a 23 feet travel trailer . The sites are narrow but easy to park. Ant repealant was needed even if we are very strict about the garbages and the BBQ... More

Always friendly. We've stayed here several times during different times of the year. Close to town and the Riverwalk if you want to drive. Easy to get to I-35 or I-410 which connects to I-10. Sites are expansive compared to most KOAs. There actually is a little space between them. If you are a bicyclist you have a connection to... More

We stayed 3 nights in our 36' - 5th wheel...the spaces were quite wide and long, no problems pulling in. One of the features that we enjoyed is the local bus service with a stop directly across the street from the entrance to the park with service directly to the River Walk and Alamo. Park was clean with plenty of... More
