If you're looking for an outstanding campground near the Alamo and Riverwalk in San Antonio, this is the place to be. The sites are paved and the campground is very clean and surprisingly quiet. The campground has free wi-fi as well. On one side of the campground there is a long bike/walking trail, which was great for our dogs. The... More

Definitely one of the nicer KOAs we've stayed at. I know some people complain that it's in an industrial area, however, a lot of KOAs we've been to are also in industrial areas. This one is gated and saw no police activity in the area. Hardly any traffic in that area (could be due to Christmas during that week). Park... More

I stayed here in August 2014 and again in December 2014. I was impressed the first time we stayed here. Don't let the drive in spook you, it is in a industrial area, but we didn't notice any extra noise from the area. The park is huge, I would guess maybe 20 acres. The city bus stops every 30 minutes... More

The neighborhood was a little daunting as we arrived but quickly forgot about that as we entered the fenced in park. The pool was great, the park was large, there a park/river walk nearby and it has a bus that runs straight into the city right outside. Was disappointment on how we were allocated our tent sites. There wasn't a... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We always appreciate hearing feedback from our guests on how we can improve and will absolutely take your comments into consideration. We do not currently offer complimentary bags of ice or smaller bags but that seems like something that should have been available in your case. We'll see what... More

We stay in this well established, very clean, shady park with wifi, whenever passing through dynamic San Antonio. It becomes our destination, base of operations as we do business, touring in the city and along the interstate corridors. Being nomadic RVers, we never have reservations. The office staff is friendly, helpful, professional and in spite of a full house, always... More

The KOA has been updated. It has a nice pool, playground, and the restrooms and showers are kept clean. We stayed in a cabin. it was clean and slept comfortable. It is kid friendly and great if you want to take your RV or take a tent and camp outside. Reasonably priced.

Warmly welcomed and aided into our site, we spent several nights in a pull thru at the San Antonio KOA. The location doesn't instill the warm fuzzies and the roadway noises can infringe on light sleepers but this is a decent place to stop over due to all they offer. The pool was heavily used, the restrooms clean, the camp... More

Nicely maintained KOA Campground. Pull-through site was adequate. Swimming pool was nice with tile work, although a little on the small side and crowded. Laundry facilities were ok. Plenty of green to walk the dog. City of San Antonio walking/biking trail runs along the eastern side of campground and is very nice. Only about 15 minutes to the Alamo and... More

Here for 3 nights in a full hook up site. We ended up with site E10 which was right on the end and near the walking path. It was a huge, shady site...just what we needed! This is a great campground and all the amenities (pool, Kamp k9, etc) are in great shape. Bathhouses very clean and well maintained. We... More

This was our first stay at this particular KOA and we will likely go back. We had a good experience even though we were there on a very crowded weekend. It is located a few short miles from downtown. It is located in an older residential / industrial section of town but not at all “sketchy” or worrisome as some... More
