Booked a tent site for 2 nights whilst travelling through Texas (from N Ireland) but ended up staying 4! Location is perfect, great wooded area which is great and within 10 mins you're in the middle of San Antonio. Felt very safe and secure here (was travelling with my 6 year old son). Pool great for kids and paths around... more

We stayed here for 4 nights. When we first came in to book a campsite we were given a site way in the back of the grounds and it was cut in half by the campground road. We went back to the front desk and requested a new site since we wouldnt be able to fit our car and our... more

Overlook the surroundings as you drive towards this KOA. The area is a little scary but don't be put off by what you are seeing. Truly one of the best KOA's that we have stayed at! If you want extra space, stay on rows near the creek. Also the Kabins toward the back of the park would offer more quite,... more

we went there with a group of friends (more than 20 of us) and we were a lil disappointed. It didn't feel like a campground at all, no nature-feel or see (there's even an apartment complex across the street), looks like shady, bad side of town, overcrowded, cabins and RV's too close to each other, and there's a 10PM to... more

I thought this resort was great for kids. We stayed in a two room cabin. Although, it was small, we had plenty of room to sleep and all of our luggage. We loved the porch swing and the outside picnic table. Our cabin area was under the trees and so it stayed shaded and cool the entire time! The best... more

The family, myself, wife, 11 year old daughter and 9 year old boy, spent Easter week , 03/22/08-03/28/08 at this KOA. The weather was great, high 70's and 80's and sunny most days. Which was better than at home in Wisconsin where it was cold with a snow storm that brought 14 inches of snow. The campground is typcal KOA... more

We booked a weekend stay in a one room Kabin at the campground. We love to camp, but since we were flying, we couldn't bring all our camping gear. This was the first time we'd stayed at a KOA Kabin. We arrived at the campground about 8pm Fri evening and the office had just closed. We waited for the night... more

First you have to understand the circumstances: three sisters on a road trip to the great Texan mecca: the Alamo. By the time we got to the towns around San Antonio we were tired of eachother and the old '85 Buick we were in was having problems. Using our femenine wiles we got a guy to help us and we... more

This is our first campground in our new motor home. All the spots are easy to get into. Very quiet. We liked it so much we decided to stay for a week. Sharlene and Don set us up in a great new spot with a huge front yard for our dogs (see pic). The park is loaded with Pecan trees... more

The KOA was perfect for us, we like camping, but would not really call staying in a cabin, camping. It was very affordable, very clean and the people who run and work there are great. Retired military. Also the people who stay at KOA's are what we call porch people, and we have a big porch! There is air conditioning... more
