Fresh flowers as you walk through the beautiful front door. Very elegant sitting room. Breakfast like no other an very healthy too. Our room was the blue bonnet and was very nice. We didn't want to leave as the name says it all it is a true Escape back into time. Thank you Deborah. ... Neil and Yvette

My husband and I stayed here on the afternoon and night of our wedding. We were married in the morning, so Deborah very generously let us check in a little early. Our room was comfortable, and parking was free (always a bonus downtown!). The house is adorable, and the decorations went well with the house. The service was excellent! Deborah... More

Very beautifull old house. We were treated like a king and queen. Service is 200% of what i'm used to! Spot is also very good. Near the old part of s.a.! One min: matrasses/bed was a little old and not so firm anymore.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely B&B for three nights in November and were very impressed with the attention and care that goes into every detail. Deborah is simply a marvelous host and she made us feel like part of the family. Her breakfasts were obviously cooked with love and were simply delicious. It was nice to hear... More

I simply can't say enough good things about this B&B!! A friend and I spent four wonderful days there and relished every moment. Deborah, the owner, provides very elegant surroundings and breakfasts "to die for." She made you feel very welcome and at home. Evening wine, coffee, and tea along with delectable treats were also available and enjoyed, which were... More

We are outdoor nuts too and the verandah provides a great setting for relaxing and people watching. It was smart for you and your friend to book those two front rooms to enjoy the whole space. Our goal is to provide our guests the best experience possible. Thank you for sharing your experience with others. Whether you prefer the quiet... More

The attention to detail and the hospitality are indescribable! Deborah will spoil you rotten, not to mention her charming personality will add to the entire experience. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough about this whole experience, from the welcoming wine and cookies, to late night tea and biscotti. And the bonus is that it is about one... Wow!!! Thank you. We are so happy you enjoyed the cookies and biscotti! That means we don't have to eat them. Just kidding... As a child, my mom Eva always had something wonderful under the cake dish to welcome visitors into our home. It is our goal to welcome our visitors the same way. We appreciate you reminding us of... We had a wonderful relaxing 5 days in San Antonio at Eva's Escape. The gourmet breakfasts were wonderful and we were pleased to be able to walk everywhere from this location. My room was on the street and I had a veranda where we could watch the coming and going on the street below and enjoy the breezes. My room... More

Can't say enough about how what a lovely place Eva's Escape turned out to be. First, this bed-and-breakfast is in a stunning 1906 house that's fun to poke around, and second, it's walking distance from everything. But what really makes the inn stand out is the thought that that owner, Deborah, puts into it. Each room is beautifully decorated and... More

8 of us "girls" had a college reunion here. The place was perfect. We filled up all but one of the rooms. The rooms were big, beds comfy and everything clean. They have thought of everything including ear plugs by the beds and lint rollers in the closet. It was an easy walk downtown to all attractions. We were fed... More
