Great location, just off the riverwalk; very professional and courteous staff. Check in/check out very easy and error free. Parking garaage on site. Rooms were clean and very nice, Junior suite is a bit misleading in name, but a nice room with a small balcony overlooking a part of the river walk where the tour boats return to base after... More

The hotel staff failed to tell their guest about the loud beeping crane outside the hotel until after midnight. They must have had too many complaints, because they stated the other guests were okay with the loud crane noise. I am sure this could be a nice but they need new management. The steep parking garage is like a roller... More

Ok, I admit its nothing to write home about but for that price it was perfectly lovely. As said many times before it's an older hotel and could use a little updating but for the price it was above average. Hence the 4 stars. You can't hold a low to mid range hotel to the standards of a 4 star... More

I enjoyed this hotel. Located in between the historic courthouse and a quiet branch of the River walk and near the Alamo. This small hotel has indoor parking up to large SUV size (extra charge for parking)no motorhome or trailer parking from what I found. My room off of the pool atrium was excellent and pool area is beautifully done.... More

We had a nice 5th floor room facing the swimming pool. We did have to go outside on the 5th floor walkway to get to it, which was a bit cold, given the cold spell all over the countr yat the time, including San Antonio. The internet worked most of the time. I found the bed a bit soft, but... More

This hotel is older and has been updated with a flat screen, but misses the mark a little. The location is close to the Riverwalk, but not the active part. The ceilings are very low. The decor is newer, but dark and the windows need replacing. They were covered in condensation on the inside and we could hear the construction... More

The hotel is obviously an older hotel that needs some updating. The balcony is very small (we requested a river walk view) and other than a view of buildings around, I would have rather had the view pool. This hotel is on the end of the river walk with no boat traffic at all. Don't get me wrong, it was... More

San Antonio is a great place and online this hotel looked great too, but it seriously over sells itself. Don't be misled, this hotel is average at best. There's nothing particularly wrong, just nothing special. The less confident traveller might find the location a bit off putting - it's slightly off the main drag and being next to the county... Decent hotel, with friendly and very helpful front desk people. The room was OK, if nothing special. The extra fee ($14.50/day) for parking was irritating, but parking near the Riverwalk in SA is tough on weekends. While the hotel does overlook the river, it is a several block walk to the Riverwalk itself and any of the restaurants there. It... More

hotel was close to San Fernando Church that had a nice light show on it. also had a nice coffee shop and the Angus burger is the best i ever had. try it. but sounds like you need to order it before midnight. my room was comfortable and clean. i think the price vs. quality was a bargain. i would...
