This has become are favorite hotel in San Antonio. It's located next to the Alamo, and is a short walk to the River Walk, so no need to use a car at this location. Historic and in a nice area. Staff is extremely healthful, courteous, and really make you feel at home. The breakfast buffet is also very good , I... More

Check in was very simple and fast. The hotel has three elevators, bell hop service, health and fitness center, pool, a full bar and full service resturant. The best feature of this hotel is its location. It is literally across the street from The Alamo and within walking distance to The Riverwalk, shops, resturants, and bars. The room was well... More

Loved our trip to San Antonio even more because of the location of the Emily Morgan! The view at night was spectacular, overlooking The Alamo and being right downtown was great! The rooms are spacious and bathrooms huge! Loved everything about it! Bedding was super-comfy too!

Breathtaking architecture to this historical hotel....the renovations are superb without losing the historical feel and charm. It was very well-priced when we stayed at the end of May. An absolute superb location for those who are Alamo sightseeing. Stunning views overlooking The Alamo. Would definitely recommend!!!

We booked one of the hotel's packages which included valet parking, internet and breakfast and once we arrived and handed over our key to the valet, we never asked for our car again until we left three days later. The building itself is really impressive, a kind of take on NYC's Flatiron, very attractive. Although we arrived pretty early, our... More

Where ever we were we could see the hotel to get back. Room was large because we upgraded. We had a view of Alamo. It was clean and remodeled. Very nice. Everyone was courteous and helpful. Have a great breakfast of tacos before our busy day.

Spent weekend with friends in San Antonio. Good location, very close to river walk and to mall. Preferred location because river walk was very crowded. Service was very good. Front desk staff was very helpful. Hotel is an "old building" that was renovated and modernized. Rooms were updated, clean, and comfortable. Sleep quality was excellent. Bed was very comfortable. Hall... More

Very nice stay, staff friendly and helpful at all times. Room dark as it needed more lighting but very comfortable. Breakfast could be slow if not getting the buffet, but food very good. Beautiful building, great location. Would highly recommend to friends.

The hotel is RIGHT next door to the alamo and only a few blocks from the riverwalk. We really liked this because the riverwalk area can get a little load at night, so it was nice to have the hotel a few blocks away. The lobby and rooms were nice. The concierge was great at recommending local places to eat.... More

Directly across from the Alamo. Horse and carriage are outside, all the tourist things are right there, you can walk across the Alamo and go down to the Riverwalk. There is a map shop right next door where you can see maps from when San Antonio was still part of Mexico.
