We held our family reunion here and the staff was so accommodating. From the moment I checked the valet and front desk made sure I was happy. It's located across the street from the Alamo and other must-see sights of downtown San Antonio, but you have to valet because parking will be a nightmare.

Awesome hotel! Love it! Very clean, very friendly, helpful staff. Excellent location. Highly recommend. The history surrounding the hotel is intriguing. Husband and I stayed for a second honeymoon and it was perfect!

The room had a sideways view of the Alamo. I was charged for parking. $25 a day. The floors were dirty. The bed was so high and with 2 inches on either side of my daughters wheelchair it was difficult to get her in bed. Forget a shower for her with a glass door that impeded access from her wheelchair.... More

I had business in San Antonio for several days and was looking for a place that was not only reasonable in price but had some character. This hotel has it all! Large rooms almost like a studio apartment; wood floors, high ceilings. Great Character and charm! One might even think this place was a little bit haunted! Its right across... More

My husband & 4 yr. old stayed at this hotel last summer (2013) & now again this summer!!! Hotel is neat, staff is friendly, & just close enough to all things San Antonio downtown/river walk has to offer. (That's the best part!)

This is absolutely not a hotel that is business traveler friendly. I had a tight schedule the morning following my stay. The card in the room stated that breakfast was served starting at 6 AM. I called the front desk to confirm and they told me 6AM was correct. The next morning I came down at 6AM and was told... More

So we had reservations to stay 3 days to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary. Upon check in we requested a room any kind of nice view. The young man at the desk put us in room 703 I believe it was. The bellhop could not even bring the cart into the room because it was so very tiny. Looking around... More

My significant other set up a girls weekend for me and my daughter. When we arrived Chef Stephanie had cookies, chocolate covered strawberries and champagne waiting in our beautiful room overlooking the alamo! The hotel is small and personable; an old financial building renovated into a hotel, it has interesting charm and unique features. My daughter was in love with... More
