Great little hotel, with unique decor. Love the location which is slightly off the beaten path. Stayed twice coming and going thru San Antonio. Stayed in the queen deluxe both times, but on opposite sides of hotel. The side facing parking lot is a little quieter than the room overlooking river walk/ocho restaurant. If its the weekend you probably get... More

Stayed in a king room, 2nd floor, overlooking parking lot. This is NOT a typical hotel. Hardwood floors, woven rugs, form over function. No iron, hair dryer, vanity, closet, hangers. Cleanliness was ok, but the wood floors trap dirt. Bathroom had hairs in tub and floor. Tub was small and shower head height is set at "hobbit". Great bath products,... More

This is my favorite kind of hotel. It has history and character and sensibility. There is nothing cookie cutter about it. The staff is courteous, helpful and competent. I can't vouch for all the rooms but our king room on the second floor was spacious and immaculate and appealingly funky. The apartment size mint green fridge with an eclectic assortment... More

Amazing! Absolutely beautiful historic hotel with so much charm! Very unique! Wonderful and helpful staff! Great location on the quiet side of the Riverwalk. Perfect overall! We stayed in the queen suite. Just the right size for two. Retro mini fridge added a nice tough. Very clean, custom bedding...great home away from home.

We stayed one night in standard queen room. Our reservation was for queen suite but was on ground floor. Staff at desk was very helpful and let us look at available rooms before deciding. We chose 2nd floor smaller room but with windows on 3 sides to minimize street noise. Room was comfortable. Shower was excellent. Housekeeping responded very quickly... More

Stayed in the penthouse of this wonderful place in San Antonio, right on the River Walk. Was a birthday present from my beautiful lady so I don't know the cost but I have to say if you stay anywhere else in San Antonio, you are missing out. I love the retro 20's/30's style and the staff were excelent and attentive.... More

It's location is on the north end of the river walk away from the typical crowds. The hotel has lots of character and was very clean. Our room was great had everything we needed (king suite). The restaurant/bar were great and the bar downstairs is very romantic, imo! A couple of complaints the windows are extremely thin! you can hear... More

My wife had an early flight Sunday morning, so we decided to drive to town Saturday and spend the night. We like smaller hotels and B&B's and the Hotel Havana exemplifies this genre. This is an older building (1914), but beautifully maintained. First off parking was great; right beside the hotel. Checking in was a breeze and the staff member... More

We visited last July and checked out of the Valencia Hotel and into Hotel Havana. The staff members are laid back and extremely helpful. They offered the government rate, even on a holiday weekend. We just loved it and planned to go back last October but unfortunately didn't make it due to Hurricane Sandy. I loved the bar and restaurant... More
