We had a most enjoyable time at this Hotel. Conveniently located, but NOT in the middle of all the activity. enjoyable walking distance to all the needed sites. The dining, within walking distance, was world class. Other sites, such as the Alamo, are a must see. People were kind and friendly and we will return for another visit.

I've stayed several times and just love the beautiful historic decoration. It is right near the riverwalk and several restaurants and museums. It is hands-down one of my favorite hotels of all time. I've stayed in the lower dollar rooms and look forward to one day staying in one of the suites. The staff is also amazing.

Checked into what looked to be a cute old building converted to a hotel on a business trip and that is where the good of it ended. The room are cute but do not let them put you in room #14 unless you want to listen to every conversation going on in the bar until closing and the creak of... More

This place is wonderful! The Europeanesque building and room was just lovely. The bed was so comfy and inviting after a long evening in San Antonio. The restaurant Ocho was fantastic and so convenient. And we even did room service for breakfast.. and those plantain kettle cakes were outstanding. Thanks for all of the helpful and tolerant ;) employees.

I like old buildings and place with local flavor. Hotel H and the adjoining restaurant Ocho are as good as it gets ....right on the river walk and next to the performing arts center. This was a treat and a good nights sleep

I wanted to love it - I really did! My husband and I had heard good things and were looking forward to trying out Hotel Havana. I love Liz Lambert's aesthetic and that didn't disappoint! However, some hiccups along the way influenced our experience. First, I tried to book online a few times and had no luck using my AAA... More

When your room is supplied with ear protection you should be concerned. Morning traffic on the front side a tad loud. Of bigger concern this dog-friendly hotel does not keep contact data for the dog owners so when a 100lb + dog has separation anxiety and whines, barks, cries and scratches for hours and the management cannot contact the owner... A very nice, cozy place to stay. Beds are extremely comfortable, staff is friendly and accommodating and restaurant and bar are very good. Also an excellent location to visit Riverwalk and Downtown San Antonio, including the Alamo. Reminds me of a European, family-owned hotel.

The Havana Hotel has white walls, high ceilings and dark brown floors and woodwork, including interior shutters, giving it a 1930s film noir vibe. One expects Humphrey Bogart to show up. A San Antonio merchant with a lot of out-of-town business built it as his private home, but with enough bedrooms to accommodate the visiting tradesmen. The hotel is located... More

We stayed two nights. I had specifically asked for rooms over the Riverwalk but didn't get them. Instead our windows opened onto the restaurant (but no problem with noise, to be fair). The hotel is charming and the beds very comfortable, but the service from desk staff was uneven and it was a strange little place, I must say. The... More
