Booked a round trip of America with a friend and San Antonio was our first stop. Was looking on trip advisor for a hotel and was finding it difficult as didn't want to stay in the same chain hotels. Hotel Havana was the best find if I ever return will definitely stay again and highly recommend. Love it. The whole... More

this is a charming atmospheric gem. Very well located, easy walks, easy parking. A fun feature is a full size antique refrigerator is in every room. . Free wifi very easy to access, plenty of television , very nice and well decorated restaurant with lovely patio by the river. This place is off beat, some rooms small but very comfortable.... More

This was my second stay at Hotel Havana for business travel. Knowing that I would stay here made the trip worth it. The retro Decor, the Cuban and Mexican aesthetic, and the throwback feel of the overall ambience is impressive, and every detail is considered. Ocho the restaurant is fantastic, I don't even bother going elsewhere. The downstairs bar, lit... More

Really enjoyed the ambience of the hotel, restaurant and grounds. The appetizers where great, the white wine selection was marginal. Everything seemed very clean which is hard to do with an historical bldg. Loved the place, BUT was pretty irritated that I spent a decent amt of money on a room, champagne, cocktails and food and they still wanted to... More

I can't believe I'm giving this hotel two stars after looking forward to staying there for so long. I have to say there were no huge surprises, it was actually pretty much as discribed online. And maybe it was just the several days of really dreary weather during our six-night stay but rather than being the character-filled, quirky place I... More

My husband and I love this hotel! This was our first visit to San Antonio. We will be coming back and will most definitely stay at Hotel Havana. The hotel staff were very friendly and professional and answered all of our questions. Everything was spotless and the attention to every detail in the room was quite impressive. The room was... What an incredible hidden gem off the fringe of downtown San Antonio. If you are up to a little walking, you can access popular downtown sites with ease from this hotel. Like the Majestic Theater - and the Tobin Theater is literally next door. The retro feel of the rooms gives the place a very nice ambiance. Stepping back in... More

The Havana Hotel is a nice boutique hotel with a good location in San Antonio, additional pros: good drinks at the bar and nice restaurant plus friendly staff. But we encountered more cons than expected. The main and most problematic issue with the hotel may be unique to our room (15 - king suite), which was that there was a... More

This sexy hotel is like the wide-hipped girl your mother warned you about in high school, or that guy with the ponytail and the sleepy eyes who you knew you should not date. When you walk in the entrance, you are sure that you have entered another era, and perhaps another country: Hanava? Mexico? Spain? That is hard to pull... More

First of all..it is an old building..so you everything outside of your room. I love it though. The rooms are dated...in a nice way. It has a classic feel of what you expect a hotel in Havana to be like. The restaurant menu is a little strange and the drinks a little strong...but otherwise great! The minibar is stocked with...
