The person at the front desk Luke was a TOTAL sweetheart! My husband and I were staying there for our honeymoon and I had booked a standard room online to help cut the costs, and when we got to the front desk, my excited husband told him we had just gotten married. Out of the kindness of his heart, he... more

It was a great place to stay. Don't be scared about location. It is tricky getting to this hotel but worth it. Our room was huge and comfortable and cleaned every day. The best kept secret is the Trolley service 1 blk away for 1.10 you can ride to river walk and leave your car parked. The staff is incrediable... more

OK hotel. (decent for a few nights) Pros: Free parking, close to downtown (the riverwalk, the Alamo), free breakfast, clean room, clean bathroom, friendly staff Cons: Bad neighbourhood (don't plan on walking to the Riverwalk or the Alamo), free breakfast was OK (rubbery eggs and dry english muffins) but the dining room was VERY hot, poor views from the hotel... more

The Comfort Suites at this location is a great place to stay in San Antonio. As people have already mentioned, parking is free. We spent three days there. On the first day we took a bus to the downtown area. After that we found out that we could walk to all the attractions, and we felt safe even walking back... more

I spent 3 nights at this location to go to a convention in town. I usually stay w/Comfort Suites or Comfort Inns, and have never had a problem. This place was the pits. First of all, the hotel is on a one way street, close to highway ramps. To get back to the hotel, you have to make a big... more

The front desk employees are wonderful. The hotel when you walk in has a good apperance. The part of town this hotel is in is a run down dark gloomy part. You will not feel safe when you arrive. The room we stayed in was the two story room with 2 king beds and sofa bed. The sofa bed is... more

The best thing about our hotel room was the size ... it was huge. We had 2 king sized beds, a sofa bed (double) and added a cot -- comfortably slept 6 people. When getting the sofa bed ready, we noticed blood and urine stains on the mattress - though this was replaced by the staff, the replacement mattress was... more

We came to San Antonio to attend my sons graduation from the Air Force Boot Camp. This hotel was reasonably close to Lackland AFB (approx. 9 miles or so - approx. 15-20 minutes drive) and the price was very reasonable for a hotel of this magnatude. The hotel overall was very nice, clean and pleasant. The rooms were large, roomy... more

This Comfort Suites did not charge for parking which is a big plus when staying 3 nights downtown. They also have a heated indoor pool, free wireless and a nice business room where guests can use their computer and printer. The king size bedroom we had was on the first floor right by the breakfast area, with a refridgerator and... more

This is a standard Comfort Suites located in a marginal area close to downtown. Do not plan to walk to the downtown sites from this hotel, particularly at night. We brought bicycles for getting around and found this to be a suitable location. Our room was a standard Comfort Suites. Good points about the hotel include good breakfast, small indoor... more
