Stayed here for two days. Rooms were neat and clean. Lobby is elegant. Restaurant and bar on site, with nice outdoor seating and several fire pits. Next to docs and convenient to the Mahi Mahi cruises (also recommend). Walking distance to nearly all attractions. Clean and tidy pool (heated and indoor) and OK fitness center. We stayed in this hotel for one night. The queen-sized double room was very nice. The room was large, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. this hotel is very convenient to shops, restaurants, and the ferry. big, clean rooms and a helpful staff. The hotel restaurant was reasonably priced and had a good selection. My 8 year old daughter enjoyed the pool.

We had made a reservation last September, 2014 for June, 2015. When we arrived, one room was not ready. We had reserved 2 rooms with 2 queens in each, adjoining or close to each other. You can't beat this location for central location with parking in downtown Salem. Everyone on staff is very friendly and helpful, and overall we were pleased with our stay here while on vacation. Very friendly staff. Right next door to Finz (great A+ restaurant). Walking distance to virtually all attractions. We booked on Expedia and got a super deal. Make sure you walk down to the piers and lighthouse.

We have been coming here for the last few years during the Spring before tourist season. This year the Hotel just had a different feel to it. The rooms seem worn out. The carpet was stained. I could go on and on about everything that went wrong, but I wont. I will just say, the customer service, especially at the front desk, has changed for the worse. The room is okay I guess as long as you like views over the car park. Roger at the front desk was about the most disinterested receptionist ever. Luckily only here one night Why can't they put real mugs in the bedrooms for the coffee and long life as opposed to powdered creamer. Come on Salem you can do better... More
