The location is excellent if you are doing any shopping or just getting around town, but you must have a car. It is right in the center of Tucson, but nowhere near the downtown area. It was difficult to find. It is located a block behind the major streets, however, once you are there it is easy to get back... more

I am in the Tucson area often and have stayed in a great many properties. I think for all around value, amenities, cleanliness, and staff, this is the best (general priced) property in the entire area. There are mult-hundred dollar per day spa properties that do supersede it, but no other generally priced hotel in the area matches it. This... more

Room was clean, nice & comfortable. Sofa & fridge in room, view on the pool but not well soundproof ( hear people partying at pool but stop at 10PM). Very good service at reception: nice staff, helpful and smiling! Hotel give free coffee at reception for hotel guests in the morning & in afternoon cookies and cold water w/ orange... more

I stayed at this property a few years ago, and was underwhelmed then, but decided to give it a try again since most of the Courtyard hotels have been refurbished with Marriott's new style for Courtyards. Well, my optimism was misplaced. The hotel still is dated, tired, and is a typical early 90's Courtyard with a stylish mauve bathroom and... more

We stayed 2 nights while on a business trip and our experience was fine. The hotel has a nice courtyard, pool, hot tub and small fitness room. The service was good and our room appeared to be newly refurbished. My only complaint was that the rooms are not very soundproof and an adjoining room left their TV on all night... more

A party of about a dozen people started in the adjacent room and hallway about 10 pm on Saturday night and didn't end until 4 am. Calls to the desk did bring someone up to the room but didn't stop the noise. The joke was the clerk's statement that "we have zero tolerance for noise!" We decided to sleep late... more

Front desk service was very good and it is apparent that they are focusing on good service. Rooms are adequate but have thin walls. Good thing we had fairly quiet neighbors. Breakfast was pretty good and reasonably priced -- pretty much self service but that is fine. Price seemed high for hotel. There is a neighboring Residence Inn that may... more

The lobby no longer has the pay-per-use computer, so being free is obviously much better! The breakfast buffet is awesome, because with such a great selection, having anything/everything you want, for only $11.00 it's quite well-priced! The staff sure are on top of things, and the rooms now have the update linens, and are ALL non-smoking. I'm looking forward to... more

We just returned from a 3 night stay and found this particular "Courtyard" to be in good shape and very clean. Earlier in the week, we were at the Courtyard Scottsdale North and the Tucson establishment wins hands down. The staff was friendly, our room was bright and quite spacious with plenty of storage. The bathroom was large and very... more

This was an easy-access hotel, close to the air force base. Good amenities. Large clean room. All was in working order. The buffet breakfast was affordable with numerous choices. The only drawback was the noise from the air conditioning wall unit. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. more
