It's a hotel built between the 90's in the atrium style. The lobby is like an oasis with water streaming around and a fountain. It's a nice shelter from the hot dessert air except I found out that the sound of doors banging shut must be reverberating in the atrium as I can hear every door that shuts in the... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. I am sorry to hear that you were unable to have a peaceful night sleep. In the future, please feel free to ask us for a room away from the elevator and we would be happy to put you as far away as possible. I am glad the pool was... More

We were passing through Tucson and decided to stay here because of it's convenient location to downtown shops/restaurants, however for it being a Marriott hotel, we were very disappointed. There is a $9.95/day charge for internet and $11/day self-parking fee Monday-Fri, not to mention we had trouble leaving the parking garage in the evening due to the ticket not being... More

I am a DJ and performed at the Tucson Marriott University Park on July 10, 2014. There were more than 250 guests and it would have been difficult for the people in the back of the room to hear the comedian, the announcements and the music. However, there was a God send. A gentleman named Dan who is a Sound... More

We stayed at the Marriott University Park for the U of A college orientation, June 8-10. The hotel was clean and our room was excellent. The service personnel were very pleasant and helpful. The bellmen/valets went out of their way to say hi and offer bottles of water. The hotel is very close to the U of A campus which... More

My brother stated at the hotel and we all visited the pool it was a Saturday night and there was a weird film on the pool I am hopping from sun block through out the day. It was kind of nasty and the pool is pretty small, but no that bad of a hotel and in a nice central location.

Thank you for taking the time to fill out a review of the hotel. We do test the pool twice a day for proper chlorine levels and that checked out to be fine. I think your observation was correct regarding a film of sunscreen which eventually was removed through the filtration system as the next day there was no observation... More

Small conference of about 60 for UA Function. 20 guest stayed in the hotel. All were very happy with the accommodations. The break-out rooms were great, well set up and with good service. If we needed anything, staff was on hand to help. Dinner was nice, dietary restrictions (including Kosher) were accommodated. Cash bar worked well. Only inconvenience is that... More

For any Univ. of Arizona function this is the location ! A full service hotel with all amenities. Checking in can be a parking challenge, as the valet area is very small and traffic is highly congested. The concierge lounge is so-so compared to other Marriotts.
