Pros: friendly staff, great location - local food/drink nearby, 25 mins from airport, uber access, comp coffee in lobby, lounge/restaurant in lobby, gift shop offered discount for guests, free parking on weekend, room was big/clean/comfortable! Cons: internet only free in lobby (not in room), semi expensive at $250/night, $4 water bottles in room, large atrium style hotel could be louder... More

Stayed at the property for 6 days. Arrived at check in prior to 3 PM local check in time, told we would receive a call when room was ready. never received call. Marriott profile has king bed listed, got doubles. Asked for 2 extra pillows in profile. didn't receive until 2 days later. A/C vent was discussing, pictures posted. So... More

I stayed at this Marriott for an out of town wedding. Although the building is a bit outdated, it was a nice hotel, great friendly staff with good service, and the hotel was clean. Their breakfast buffet was very good. The beds were really comfy.

I stayed at this hotel for a conference and thought it was a nice, clean and central hotel. I did not stay long but had the opportunity to have breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was decent. The rooms were clean and modern. I had one issue with the TV that staff was quick to fix. I would stay... More

This hotel is basically a rubber stamped version of many hotels. There is the large atrium, breakfast bar, glass elevators, etc. Nothing special, but nice. The staff is mostly local college kids, which makes for a friendly, but not overly helpful experience. My room was average, but not perfect. The tub was slow draining, light bulb over the sink out... Very friendly staff who treat everyone as though they are MVP travelers. From the valets out front to the front desk to the servers in the bar, everyone was nice and happy to give suggestions on places to go, dine, hang out, etc... One place they recommended was a local sushi joint and it was fantastic. Another time was going... More

The room was nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately, the doors connecting the rooms don't block out noise very well so I had to listen to my neighbor's loud phone call (I could hear every word) and the TV from next door. The shower didn't drain properly so I ended up taking a foot bath every... More

This is a perfectly serviceable and very typical Marriott. It's clean and has all the amenities you'd expect at a Marriott property. It's also got a beautiful atrium that goes the full height of the building. The only negative, really, is that the place is really very 1990's. The carpets, wallpaper, colors, and finishes are really in need of modernization.... More

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. This was our first visit to Tucson, and I had low expectations of the hotel and the area in general, but was pleasantly surprised. Location is the best feature of this hotel. It's walking distance to AU and lots of little shops, cafes, restaurants right by the campus area. We stayed in... More

The hotel is starting to show the wear and tear of age (e.g. faucet about ready to fall off; old key card door locks that take several seconds to unlock after the card is inserted) but the service is good and staff are responsive to requests. Location is next to the University of Arizona and several restaurants are a short... More

Thank you for filling out a survey on the Tucson Marriott University Park. The hotel is scheduled for a renovation in 2016 which should address most of the issue in your first point.
