We loved our stay here, convenient to the city but tucked away in a residential neighborhood with a view of the mountains. Around every corner of the the lovely grounds and adobe village atmosphere are quiet seating spots and little fountains where you can enjoy relaxing in the shade or soaking up the sun. We stayed in one of the... More

We decided to stay here rather than a chain on a recent visit based on past experience. Fortunately we were not disappointed. It was just as nice as before. We had a second floor room with a single King bed. The room was quiet, the A/C worked great, they had a small gas fireplace in the room. The bathroom is... More

If you're looking for a place to stay with some character then, you won't be disappointed. We had a great stay here, which was helped considerably by the quality of the food in the dining room. We ate in the restaurant for 2 nights and would say that the food is some of the best we've had in Arizona. That's... More

We stayed in one of the historic casitas, super cute vintage feel. Great bed and bedding! Room needed a slight touch up/ dusting but understand it is a vintage room, over all great room. The grounds will really wow you. Great staff, bar is nice. I did tour one of the newer casitas on check out and was really impressed,... More

A quiet oasis in the midst of a sprawling city. The architecture and decor suited our taste for understated Southwestern style. Our accommodations were inviting and comfortable for a five night stay. The hotel was centrally located enough for our far ranging activities, and after a busy day it was nice to go down the street for dinner at the... More

We stayed for four nights in March. This hotel was quite centrally located to all of the places we wanted to go. The rooms were giant with plenty of room for our hiking and cycling gear. This place is well appointed with wonderful grounds, a nice pool, and a great jacuzzi. The TV is huge and probably high-def, but the... More

We reserved a Romance package which was 2Dine4 where we got $50 dining credit at the restaurant and breakfast for 2. The restaurant was way understaffed and the food was over priced for sure. I called the next morning just to make sure about the breakfast and the amount allowed was $20 and no where in the description did it... More

Thank you for providing me with your comments and for choosing us as your destination. While I understand your feeling regarding our historic rooms, they continue to offer the southwestern feel which is appreciated by a great number of guests wishing this type of environment. I am glad we were able to move you to our newer section of the... More

Stayed in a traditional king room. Room was very dark (terrible lighting and in a fairly busy area on the ground floor, so couldn't have the blinds open) and smelled musty. The closets smelled very musty, to the point where I didn't want to put my clothes in there. The bathroom wall had a huge crack in it. All the... More

Thank you for staying with us and I apologize that you found the historic accomodations not to your expectations. Our historic rooms are unique and not typical of todays or our newer sections type of rooms. Your discription of it being "musty" was due to it not having been used for a couple of weeks and your stay was during... More

We stayed at the Lodge just prior to Xmas. The room was terrific. The local temperature was cold enough in December that we actually used the gas fireplace in the room. Super comfortable king bed, good-sized bathroom with dual sinks. Great flat screen TV. The room was spacious, and very tastefully appointed. The swimming pool area is small, but terrific,... More

Our room was lovely with a view of the Santa Catalina Mountains, even though we were on the ground floor. The swimming pool, library, restaurant and grounds were gorgeous. The staff were courteous and efficient. We will recommend this beautiful oasis to friends who travel to Tucson.
