The hotel is well maintained, located adjacent to a restaurant/shopping area well maintained, and easy to use. They have a great little resturant on site. But beware. They have new and old rooms and you need to be carefull and know what you are getting, depending on tuour status. The old rooms are not suited for a longer stay (more... More

An exceptional value. The bar and staff are great, rooms are sizeable and have a great SW feel. Check out the government rates as well. I would hope this place is available the next time I am in Tuscon. I had no issues with the Wifi during the stay. The food and wine selections was also great, and a very... More

The location is centrally located in Tucson, with a unique Southwest small resort feel. Some of the rooms are historic adobe, and some are recently constructed. The grounds are immaculate, and the pool and Jacuzzi seem new, or close to it. The feel is unique and connects with the Southwest and Tucson. They are pet friendly, and I had a... More

I fell in love with the "traditional" room when I saw photos of it on the hotels website. The actual room I stayed in looked identical to the photos. I was traveling alone and the traditional room was plenty big with 2 queen beds and plenty of space to walk around. The hotel staff were very friendly and the room... More

We liked this hotel. I like that instead of being one huge building it is made up of many smaller buildings connected with pathways. Almost like cottages. It was a different concept but one that I liked. It felt more private. We used the pool and hot tub as well. The only downside was the advertised WIFI didn't work at... More

Food: 4 stars Grounds: 3 stars Rooms: 2.5 stars Food was great. Fresh and well prepared. The grounds were in need of some work but were presented well. The rooms, however, were very outdated. Loud ac and no shades to block morning sun. Bathroom was clean but outdated. Location is away from everything and in an older neighborhood but the... More

What a great resort within the city confines of Tucson. Within the city but with amenities that feel like a house alone in the desert. Great property with everything you could need without leaving the property. The restaurant, pool and rooms are all you need when spending a day within touring Tucson, nice to come back to at the end... More

This is a wonderful place to stay. As a Tucsonan, I recently needed a stay-cation and my first thought was Lodge on the Desert. I drive by it weekly and am aware of its history. Staying alone, I felt safe and comfortable. The restaurant has a fabulous menu with lots of gluten free options. The roasted red pepper tamales with... More

My wife and I have celebrated our last two anniversaries in Tucson and we stay at the Lodge. The thick adobe walls of the individual housing units ensure a quiet environment. The fireplace adds the ambiance and the grounds are lush with fragrances and color. The pool, with the flowing falls, is the perfect swimming pool. They have a restaurant... More

We will definitely return!! The accommodations, staff and food were amazing!!! The Lodge was close to everything we needed to do. We were visiting from out of town and the front desk was very accommodating in helping us get around town.
