I thought this was a lovely hotel. Extremely clean and very quiet. The room was large, the bed comfortable, location convenient (not that anything is truly convenient in Tucson since the freeway skirts the city) .... overall just a super stay! More

My husband and I spent three nights at the Lodge and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I'm very particular about hotel rooms and was very satisfied! Our deluxe king room was clean, large and nicely decorated. The fireplace, sliding patio door and ceiling fan were extra nice touches. The bathroom was even large with a double sink and double shower. ...... More

We've stayed here a couple of times. The first time we had one of the newer rooms with a larger bathroom and this time we had a older room that needed a lot of work. No fridge, no safe in room, no Internet and a very small bathroom with zero counter space. We will stay there again but will request... More

I stayed at this quaint Inn last week in Tucson. It's hard to not enjoy its charm, from the well manicured grounds to the individual feeling of the "rooms." Don't expect your WI-FI to work in your room and allow 10-15 minutes for hot water to reach your bathroom (seriously!), but the staff is very friendly, the little restaurant nice,... More

Thank you for your review of our hotel. We sincerely appreciate the kind comments. I would assume you stayed in our historical section which we fully admit we are having difficulties with our WiFi service. The thickness of the adobe walls are causing us some problems. We have identified the solution and will be completing this improvement soon. The majority... More

I visit Tucson once a year for the Mineral and Fossil Show and have always stayed in the central hotels where the shows are based - and never enjoyed the experience. I found this hotel on the Internet and tried it out this year. I was very pleasantly surprised and will certainly use the hotel the next time I travel... More

We made our reservation via Expedia and when we arrived there was no record of our reservation in the system. We thought we would be turned away but the staff went above and beyond, finding us a room for the night. It was a spacious room with a beautiful view of the mountains and a fireplace. The property is situated... More

The Lodge on the Desert is a beautiful little hotel. The rooms are individual – as if they were separate from other rooms – but they aren’t really. The grounds consist of several buildings with 4 to 6 rooms per building. The staff was most helpful and gracious, the wait staff in the restaurant was equally friendly. We didn’t make... More

We had a suite in the one of the newer blocks and we were not disappointed. Both the bedroom and living area were huge and well equipped and there was also a balcony. The hotel, rooms and grounds were spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. On one occasion we asked Aleisha... More

We were very impressed with The Lodge on the Desert hotel accommodations. The room was very spacious and featured a charming corner gas fireplace. We were upgraded to a jacquzzi room at no extra charge. I used the tub to soak my aching muscles after one of our great Tucson hikes! We appreciated the super-large flat screen TV, as well.... More

Our stay at the Lodge exceeded our expectations. Excellent service and very clean grounds. The rooms are beautifully updated with fireplaces and jacuzzi tubs. Flat screen TVs and wifi in every location. I highly recommend eating at the restaurant. Our meal was delicious, the steak and lobster ravioli was to die for! Next time your in Tucson, I highly suggest... More
