Every aspect of this hotel is wonderful. Friendly staff, gorgeous pool area, spacious and immaculately clean room, good restaurant, stunning view. Our family of five received a complimentary upgrade to a junior suite and it was the perfect size for 2 adults and 3 teens. We spent the late afternoon lounging in the pool and watching the sunset on the... More

I have stayed at this resort for the past few Labor Day weekends, this is what my daughter likes to do to celebrate her birthday. She loves all the activities the hotel has. We were super bummed with this years festivities (or lack thereof). Really cheesy games for kids, the cosmic slide was cancelled on a perfectly clear night. The... More

Thank you for being a loyal guest to our resort. I am pleased to hear that your daughter enjoyed cooking with the Chef, and apologize that she was disappointed with our activities this year. Unfortunately, the sudden monsoon rain/hail storm that occurred on Sunday caused the cancellation of the Cosmic Slide. I am sharing your comments regarding your pool experience... More

We spent our spring break here in 2012 at one of the Casitas. The Casita was a LOOONG walk to the parking lot (and we're VERY active and fit) -- this was a bit of a drag. And while the bedroom/living rooms were nice, the kitchen seemed a bit tired. And our view was of a construction site which was... More

I recently visited several other hotels outside of Tucson and it was evident to me just how good the El Conquistador is. No, it's not just the beautiful mountain vistas, although the El Con has those in abundance. It's not the beautiful lobby area or the walking paths; it's not the nice rooms or even the great pools. What it... More

This was a romantic weekend get away for my husband and myself. We live here in Tucson with our two young kids and since my husband is changing jobs and it was his weekend get away I thought it was time for a little us time since he won't get any vacation any time soon! We love the Conquistador! We... More

Only stayed one night. Though I live in San Diego now, I lived in Tucson for several years and am returning to the area. Staye here while I was getting my move in order. This hotel has the best hotel gym I've ever used. Everything else is as high quality as you'd expect from this brand and this level of... More

If you ever have the chance to stay at this amazing hotel then make sure you also request Gino as your waiter at the Sundance restaurant. Helpful, funny and very professional he made our visit a pleasure. Food was superb to say the least. The ciew from the deck was spectacular.

Stayed just one night on a business trip on the recommendation of my customer. The resort is quiet this time of year so my colleague and I had the place almost to ourselves. Views all around the place are spectacular. Ate both lunch and dinner in the on-site restaurants. Food was fresh, well prepared and nicely presented. Wait staff was... More

We didn't ask why the room rate in July was only $79, we didn't want Hilton to realize that they may have undersold themselves. To be fair, there are are other equally good resorts for the same price in Tucson. The El Conquistador is up to the usual Hilton standards, service quality is very high. All personnel were looking sharp,... More

Rooms were nice but warm. A/C didn't work well. NEVER run a tab at the pool! They "pad" the bill!! Pool is gorgeous and so is lobby. We had breakfast at the Sundance restaurant and the people are less than helpful. Our 20% off coupons were fought tooth and nail. Front desk, bellman and concierge were very helpful..
